All Treasure Vaults in South Sea Bog:
The South Sea Bog Region is located across the river, east of the Irondale Floo Flame. You can find and loot 4 Treasure Vaults within its borders. Moreover, a 5th vault is located very close to the area, so it is also included in this guide. Here’s how to open all Treasure Vaults in South Sea Bog:
- Northern South Sea Bog Treasure Vault
The first Treasure Vault is located near the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame. Start at the Flame and head southeast to find the vault near the Merlin Trial, as shown in the picture:
The vault’s entrance is below the cliff near the South Sea Merlin Trial. However, the entrance is quite small, and you can easily miss it. So, set a waypoint on the map to reach the entrance and cast Revelio to reveal the breakable wall.
Next, use either Confringo or Bombarda to break open the vault’s entrance.
Finally, head inside the vault tunnel and follow the path until you reach a small room. The treasure chest is located in the left corner of this room.
- Northern South Sea Bog Treasure Vault
Head back to the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame for the next vault.
Next, head southwest from the Flame toward the Giant Purple Toad beast den.
Finally, go east from the den on your Broom to find the vault, as shown in the picture:
Double doors block the vault’s entrance. First, use Revelio to locate the doors and then open them with either Accio or Depulso spells.
Next, go inside the tunnel and keep going downstairs until you reach a small room.
Turn right and head into the second room to find the treasure chest right in front of the entrance.
- Northern South Sea Bog Treasure Vault
The next vault is again located close to the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame.
You can easily find it by going southwest from the Giant Purple Toad beast den, as shown in the picture:
Finding this vault won’t be a problem as it is located in a large open field. However, you must learn Alohomora Level 3 to enter this vault.
So, start collecting the Demiguise Moons and return them to Gladwin Moon.
Once you learn the spell, head downstairs in the underground tunnel.
Next, use Alohomora to unlock the level 3 door in front of you.
Once you enter the vault, the next puzzle is located in the small room at the end of the path. You must walk through the leaf tornado three times to drop the treasure chest.
The tornado will disappear and reappear somewhere after you catch it.
So, the best strategy is to keep running through the two archways as the tornado usually appears.
- East South Sea Bog Treasure Vault
The last Treasure Vault in the South Sea Bog is located near the eastern border.
You can reach this vault by going west from the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame, as shown in the picture:
Use Revelio to locate the pressure plate right before the vault’s entrance.
Next, go down the cliff and turn left to find the stone cube (Revelio will help you). Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the cube and guide it back to the pressure plate.
Finally, use Glacius on the cube to open the vault’s entrance.
Head inside the vault and keep going down until you reach a large tomb chamber. Use Revelio to reveal the stair’s landing and a few skeleton bones on top of the statue.
Next, use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the bones and place them between the two bones on the landing. This will create a bone staircase toward the statue.
Finally, go upstairs and climb on the ledge to find the treasure chest.
- Coastal Cavern Treasure Vault
This next Treasure Vault isn’t really in the South Sea Bog Region. However, it is very close, so you should unlock it while you are out there.
You can find this vault near the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame, as shown in the picture:
The East South Sea Bog Floo Flame is inside the Loyalist Warrior camp. However, If you have already unlocked the Flame, you won’t have any trouble.
Stand at the vault’s entrance and use either Confringo or Bombarda to break open the wall.
Next, head inside the vault and use Revelio to locate the treasure chest on top of the cliff on the right side. You can reach the chest by climbing up on the platform on the left side.
