It’s a beautiful small island that is away from all the other spots and can be accessed only by a flyer or a raft. Herbivore Island has several beautiful spots that can serve as an excellent base location.

Redwood Lake

Redwood Lake holds the exact same characteristics making it a perfect place to build your base. If you are experienced enough and have successfully reached the higher levels then Redwood Lake is the best place for you.
This place has a lot of River Rocks and Metal Rocks which is a good thing. Redwood Lake is located at coordinates 62.0, and 34.5.
Deep Island
This is another great spot located near the Redwood Forest. What makes it a better base spot is the river and the mountains on it’s both sides. A great spot for resources and spawns as well. And obviously, a great to hide your precious stuff.
Having a base at this spot can be beneficial for you. As one side has a river which can be a good place for your flyers to take off. And the other side is dense in trees which is a safe place for you.

Hidden Lake
It’s a lake that is hidden in between a deep area which is surrounded by dense forest. Hidden Lake can prove to be the best spot for your base. But be aware, you can encounter some dangerous creatures here.
It’s a great place to build a base with narrow entrances, making it nearly impossible for intruders to raid. You can try various building structures of bases. The place is kind of located in between the high cliffs so I would suggest you build a base that has considerably higher walls.
Hidden Lake is located on the North East side of the map at coordinates 22.5 and 69.5.
The Mini Mountains
A good place to build a base around mountains. This is in our list of Ark best base locations due to the unrealistic nature scenes this place offers. Mini Mountains are not only known for their beauty but the resources and creatures that can be found here.
This place is full of resources and the creatures that you can find here are just amazing. No doubt, creatures like Rex can be found in other places as well but on this spot too. Take your shot and build a base here.
You can find this place on the Eastern side of the map at coordinates 43.4 and 66.8.
Brawlers Bay
Brawlers is another place for players looking to build a base. The place has some beautiful views around that you can be obsessed with. Besides just the beauty Brawlers Bay offers a few spots such as a cave and cliffs for an excellent base.
It can be a safe place to grow your creatures and store your precious stuff. Although you need to be strategic enough to build a base in such a way that intruders don’t even have a chance to take their shot.
Now if you are ready to try this place then it can be found at coordinates 47.5 and 19.6.
The Center
The Center is actually the exact center of the map Island. This place is an open ground but the surrounding here plays an important role. All four sides of the map are easily accessible and you will be open to all the resources that can be found.
Most importantly, you should be experienced enough to build a secure base here as you are on open ground. Also, there is a danger of highly aggressive creatures. But this can also be a good opportunity for you to capture some of the greatest creatures.
The Center is located at the coordinates 41.5 and 49.0. This exact location gives you easy access to Red Forest, Volcano, and Snow Biome.
Weathertop
A safe place where you can set up your new home without any fear. You can find plateaus here that will serve as protection against any threat if you use them properly. Weathertop is located in Southzone 1 which is the safest spawn point for any player.
So surprisingly, you will be completely safe from creatures as this zone has no aggressive animals. If you want to stay away from all the dangerous creatures then this place is highly recommended for you.

Southern Jungle
An excellent zone for the ones looking to tame a variety of different creatures including the Alpha creatures. This jungle zone on the Southern side can be worth giving a try only for experienced players.
It’s not an easy spot to build a base on uneven terrain. The flat spots can be hard to find in this zone. Although, if you have ideas to use these uneven grounds then you should go for it.
You can find the Southern Jungle at coordinates 74.4 and 19.3.
SnowPeaks
A cold region where everything is surrounded by snow and it can be hard for beginners to survive here. That is why we kept it last on our list. SnowPeaks can be worth having a base if you are experienced enough and have all the items to survive the cold.
SnowPeaks gives you access to the Volcano biome which is a plus point. Give this spot a try if you are strong enough and if you are crazy for snow.
