Azariel the Sunbringer Location
In Silverlight Hills’ Brighthaven Cathedral, Azariel the Sunbringer is preaching for the masses. Even though you can always locate him in the same spot, getting into Brighthaven and the Cathedral is rather difficult because it necessitates a few unique tools and skills.
Use Human Form, which you may get by beating Beatrice the Tailor. Then, you must first pass past the security personnel stationed at the city’s entrances.
The Holy Resistance Flask is the second item you will want. Because the Holy Resistance Potion is insufficient to protect you from the Cathedral’s surrounding Holy Radiation. To get the recipe for the Holy Resistance Flask, you must fight Willfred the Werewolf Chief.
To the west of the city’s northern entrance, there is also a broken wall. In case you do not have Human Form or would rather enter covertly.
Your Human Form disguise will be exposed as soon as the Paladins and Priestesses manning the Brighthaven Cathedral spot you. Consequently, employing Rat Form and circumnavigating the church until it is safe for you to walk inside is the greatest technique to enter the cathedral without getting hurt.
If roaming across these holy structures is not how you want to go about it, you can use the Blood Altar to further your mission. Azariel the Sunbringer, Level 68 V Blood, may be located and pursued using the Track button on the Blood Altar.
It will be much easier to find this holy man in this V Rising Cathedral thanks to the floating blood trail.
Azariel the Sunbringer Rewards
By consuming the V Blood of Azariel, vampires will be rewarded with:
- Power Surge – Vampire Power
- Gold Ingot – Recipe
One of the finest buffs in the game is by far Power Surge. It eliminates all detrimental effects and places a power shield on the designated ally or self. While the shield is active, it also speeds up movement and attacks by 25% and 25%, respectively.
The primary purpose of Gold Ingots is as a crafting material for some of your castle’s late-game ornaments. To create one Gold Ingot, you’ll need eight Sulphur and eight Golden Jewelry.
The acquisition of Gold Ingots is not necessary for the advancement of the storyline in V Rising. Instead, you will gain passive weapon boosts and better resistance on your armor. Set pieces by infusing Gold Ingots with your weapons and armor set pieces.
These benefits will ultimately be useful while battling end-game enemies like Matka, The Winged Horror, etc.
Tips for Beating Azariel the Sunbringer
Azariel is a Level 68 V Blood Boss and, therefore, should not be taken lightly. These are the abilities he will use during this death match:
Holy Light | Releases dozens upon dozens of holy, low-damage projectiles that travel around the battle area |
Holy Spirit | Summons allies that make him invulnerable to damage |
Divine Intervention | Brings down on the enemy in a circular area holy attacks that deal massive damage |
Azariel heavily relies on his holy powers throughout the battle. His main assault is a constant barrage of Holy Lights that he uses in all of his phases. These can get quite bothersome as he tends to spam it, turning the battlefield into a firework exhibition. Luckily, the lights do not deal a lot of damage, so avoiding isn’t completely necessary if the vampire is properly buffed against holy damage.
You must also eliminate the Holy Spirits that he summons as soon as you can. Once he reaches about half of his total health, Azariel will spawn these spirits that make him immune to all damage while they’re up. After the first release in this phase, his Holy Lights will also come back to him.
Another occasional power he will use is to bring down upon the player a lot of holy light that can deal huge damage. You can spot this when you find yourselves surrounded by a huge, red circle. That is why most people will be able to dodge this instantly.
During random points in the fight, he will activate his last ability, Divine Intervention, which involves pointing his staff upward to call down holy spears. Despite the fact that this ability causes a ton of damage, it is simple to evade because of how much room you have inside the Cathedral.
Swords and Slashers are excellent tools for closing the gap between you and Azariel in terms of weaponry and skills.
One of the strongest escape techniques in the V Rising is the secondary ability of the Slashers, which is great for avoiding Azariel’s Holy Lights if they start dealing too much damage Sanguine Coil and Chaos Volley are also excellent for maintaining a high damage output throughout the battle. If you require greater defense, think about employing Ward of the Damned or any of the Barrier spells.
End
Azariel the Sunbringer loves bringing light to right in his enemies’ faces. All of his attacks have a holy affinity and they are relentless. He will bombard the vampire with non-stop skills that will, as the nickname makes us understand, bring the Sun into the room.
This is why it would be preferable to use a more tanky build for the fight. Azariel will inevitably hit the player, so bringing more power to battle might be the only way to win this fight.
