The recent release of Nemesis, one of the main villains of the Resident Evil franchise, has put Dead by Daylight in the spotlight. The popular video game developed by Behaviour interactive features original killers but also revives villains from popular horror franchises. Players from around the world can chase survivors using Freddy Kruger’s gauntlet, handle Leather Face’s chainsaw or use Pyramid Head’s massive knife.
The problem is that not everyone has the computer to run the game. For these players, Dead by Daylight mobile is a great alternative. This mobile version looks almost identical to the original game, but it has its own mechanics that distinguish it. Therefore, it is normal that the gameplay of many killers is also different.
This (subjective) list is not only going to take into account things like the power of the killer or their base speed but also how difficult it is to use them in this particular version. Without further ado, let´s see our picks for the best killers in Dead by Daylight Mobile.
Table of Contents
1. The Nurse
Present in Dead by Daylight since almost its beginnings, the Nurse has undergone different changes, but her power has remained intact. She is capable of performing and chaining blinks that not only allow her to travel great distances in a few seconds, but she can also pass through walls, ceilings, floors, and structures. The Nurse is probably one of the most difficult killers to learn and master. But for those who take the trouble to do so and are willing to lose several games, they will find themselves with the most powerful killer in the entire game.
2. The Spirit
The Spirit is the protagonist of one of Dead by Daylight’s most beloved DLCs. Although she is also a difficult killer to master, she is not only incredibly lethal but also a lot of fun to play. She can switch to a spectral plane where she won’t be able to see the survivors, but they can’t see her either. In exchange for this, she can run across the map at high speed and see the marks left by the survivors as they run. This makes the spirit one of the strongest killers in the game, and the only one who can challenge the nurse.
3. The Hag
This killer is one of the most unique in the entire game. Being a killer that doesn’t focus on chasing survivors, but rather setting traps around them, she is favored in the mobile version of the game. Her power allows her to leave marks anywhere on the map, and when a survivor steps on them, she can immediately transport to that location. Such a strong power has its weaknesses: the traps can be eliminated with flashlights or ignored if you walk crouching on top of them. Even so, the time the survivor wastes crouching or relying on having a flashlight makes the Hag one of the most dominant killers in the game.
4. The Blight
After several tweaks and improvements, The Blight has become a very dangerous killer. The ability to move at full speed by running into objects in the environment allows him to overtake survivors in the middle of chases. As if that were not enough, he is now able to make much tighter and more complicated turns, so that not even the corners can resist him. Despite being unstoppable in almost all kinds of situations, he is probably the most difficult character to use, especially in the mobile version of the game. For this reason alone, he is below Hag on the list.
5. The Cannibal
Even though after his last rework Leather Face is a very strong killer, he by no means deserves a top 5 in the regular game. In Dead by Daylight Mobile, it’s another matter. The killer who can take down multiple survivors using his chainsaw is known to be an easy character. But in the mobile version of the video game, where it is much more difficult to control the killers, The Cannibal just has to charge the chainsaw and move forward hitting everything in sight. For being very easy to control, difficult to dodge, and extremely intimidating, Leather Face earns this high position.
6. The Twins
The Twins are probably one of the most hated killers (by survivors) in recent times. Despite all the criticism, no one can deny their enormous power. Their main ability allows Charlotte to throw Viktor, her twin, to search for survivors and attack them at high speed. The little cooldown to launch the little being and the ability to down survivors, makes these beings great map dominators, making the survivors’ game a nightmare.
7. The Wraith
This killer had the reputation of being one of the weakest characters in the game, but his latest tweaks totally vindicated this invisible monster. His ability consists of hitting a bell and becoming invisible, but he can’t attack until he hits the bell again. His latest rework allows him to go at high speed while invisible, so he can now outpace survivors or run across the map in a few seconds. Another of its main features is that it is really very easy to use, so it climbs a couple of extra positions in the mobile version of the game, beating other terrifying killers.
8. The Executioner
It’s time to mention one of the most iconic horror characters in video games. Pyramid Head, the famous nightmare from Silent Hill, is undoubtedly a very particular killer. His main power allows him to launch a ranged attack that goes through structures, hurting or downing all survivors in range. In addition, he can hang survivors without lifting them and can even kill them, being the only killer that has this ability. Normally he would be higher than The Cannibal or The Wraith, but since he is very difficult to use in Dead by Daylight mobile, he occupies a comfortable eighth place.
9. The Oni
Another of the most powerful killers of the game that drops a few positions for being difficult to use. In addition to his imposing physical presence, he can absorb the blood released by the wounded survivors. This not only makes it easier for him to locate them, but he can also enter a rage mode that allows him to move at high speed and down survivors with a single blow. Unfortunately, this power is very difficult to control in Dead by Daylight mobile and can be used only for a limited time, so he has to use it wisely.
10. The Nightmare
Since its rework, Freddy Krueger has become the easiest and at the same time dangerous killer in the game. The Nightmare can quickly teleport between generators with one of his powers, but also make it difficult for survivors to escape him thanks to his blood traps or his illusory pallets, which affect survivors when they are asleep. A recent small change to his blood pools weakened him a little. Still, as long as he can teleport all over the map, he will remain a force to be feared, especially at low ranks, as even new players can master him very quickly.
Final Thoughts
Despite the positions, the killers in the game are very balanced (except for the nurse). Anyone can dominate any game in the right hands, even those who didn’t make the Best Killers in Dead by Daylight Mobile list. What do you think, did you find your favorite killer? Who do you think should have been? Comment!
