Best Servants in V Rising

Managing your servants in V Rising is crucial once you’ve turned a few opponents and NPCs into them. To properly appreciate their effectiveness, you’ll want to understand more about their Blood Type, attributes, perks, faction and servant type, and skills. You may benefit from using different servant kinds and talents in a variety of ways, which is helpful for developing your character. This guide describes the top servant types and their capabilities in V Rising.

What Are Servants and How Do You Use Them?

Servants in V Rising

In V Rising, servants are incredibly helpful since they will independently explore new places for you and bring back resources for you to utilize as you see fit—and in broad daylight, no less! By reducing the time required for laborious copper or sulfur mining, you may continue working on more significant tasks, like constructing the castle of your dreams.

They will also protect the castle from the many, dangerous vampires that want your precious loot. Since these guys are so important, you will need the best of the best, for either sending them out in PvE to gather resources or in PvP to protect your stronghold.

Details such as how to get servants and how to use them can be found in this related V Rising Servants Guide.

Best PvP Servants for Base Defense

PvP Servants for Base Defense

In general, all servants are relatively good in V Rising. Since the gear that they have equipped will affect power more than anything else, their type is not that important. Their special skills, however, make a huge difference in PvP.

Some servants are more detrimental than useful, so here are the best servants you can employ in Base Defense for PvP:

Priest

Though they are not that good at healing and dealing damage, they summon endless waves of holy pillars that can stun nearby vampires.

These pillars are lethal in tight spaces, such as the castle. They also last for such a long time that it will seem like they never disappear.

Even one of these guys will, in a prolonged battle, annoy and hinder enemy vampires.

Lightweaver

The Lightweaver is the most entertaining servant to watch in all of V Rising. Its attacks and hit-and-run tactics are a sight to behold. Unfortunately, they are not that powerful when they are alone.

A Lightweaver, accompanied by a few other Lightweavers, is lethal. Along with her friends, this servant can light up a kill room like no tomorrow. Preferably, set up a slightly larger room for them, since they need the space to maneuver around.

Nun

The Nun is the best healer in the game by far. She has a powerful AoE skill that heals characters in a circled area. This power is extremely useful,  especially so in the tight halls of the castle.

By using 2 of these Nuns, your whole defense squad will receive all the necessary support to fight enemy vampires that have breached the walls.

Devoted

These guys might look flimsy and weak, but they actually have cool movesets. They actually have one of the highest DPS outputs in the game and can destroy enemies with ease.

Another great thing about them is that, if they reach around 50% of their health, they will fall back and start acting as debuff/support types. They can slow enemies down and make them weaker for the other frontline defenders.

Luckily, if you have some Nuns in the crew, they can get healed when they get back and jump into the fray once their health is back in form.

Cleric

When it comes to tanks, the Cleric is the best one on the market. Some might suggest the Paladin or the Werewolf, but both are objectively inferior.

The Cleric has amazing defensive stats and skills. Whenever someone is in trouble she will jump in with a huge holy shield and protect the afflicted. She also has a power that buffs individual allies. These allies can double or even triple their health bar with this buff.

The Cleric can also slow down the vampires, letting the damage dealers have fun for a while.

The recommended combination for a single, 9 servant castle is 2 Nuns, 3 Lightweavers, 1 Priest, 2 Devoted, and 2 Clerics.

Best PvE Servants for Resource Gathering

PvE Servants for Resource Gathering

When it comes to PvE, the exact Servants are not that relevant. It does not matter if you have a Nun or a Priest. It does, however, matter to have each Blood Type in your employ.

So, taking that into consideration, here are the 5 Blood Types you can get in the game, and which will provide you with the best resources during explorations:

Brute

In V Rising, some individuals would even consider the Bruce type to be the Best Servants because of their dedication to the players. In essence, they enable the player to hunt in harsher locations that would otherwise appear far too risky for them to explore on their own.

Tenacious Strength, a servant quality that they cultivate, will immediately make it easier for players to take out adversaries or animals for food or blood in these more hostile areas. The greatest servants to invest in are those that suit the player’s tastes.

Warrior

The major DPS role for the player in V Rising is the Warrior servant, who develops the skill known as Military Tactics, which allows them to annihilate any foes that dare approach their base without endangering the player. They are perfect for breaking into tightly secured regions.

Rogue

Next, Rogue servants in V Rising; these servants are mostly useful for entering areas that have been infested with adversaries and demons that pose a threat to the player’s safety. These slaves can take the players’ places and give them the resources they require so the payer doesn’t have to risk hurting themselves. If the player wants to farm in these tougher places, their characteristic, Tracking Expertise, will be useful.

Scholar

In V Rising, there is also the Scholar servant, which is typically used while trying to dig or engage in farming in places that are entirely covered by and subject to the whims of nature. Protection from the elements is essential in V Rising. Sending employees who are excellent at protecting themselves from the weather is therefore crucial.

They will naturally make it simpler for the player to go hunting in those locations that have been defended by nature’s elements thanks to their perk, Sacred Resistance, without having to use all of their HP. The perk is crucial to their survival since it gives them a minor benefit.

Objectively speaking, the Scholars are the best PvE servants, since most holy places hold the best, end game resources.

Worker

The Worker is primarily for gamers that want to saunter around and gather resources. The servant’s primary goal is to become one of the V Rising best Servants by assisting players in entering fortified communities.

They can look innocent thanks to their Humble Appearance attribute. Therefore, it will be simple for the residents of these villages to trust them.

Additionally, because of their established reputation, they are able to seize power over the populace’s resources without being assaulted. Just for that reason, this kind of servant can be ideal for players that want to avoid confrontation.

End

Servants are vital in V Rising, so choosing the best ones to help you is just as vital. As shown, if you’re a single PvE player, servants don’t matter as much. What does matter is to get as many of them as possible to send them out in the world to collect. And, also, make sure to have a varied cast of thralls.

In PvP, everything changes. Servants are the bread and butter that will decide if your castle is still standing when you go offline or not. That’s why, using the recommended combination of 2 Nuns, 3 Lightweavers, 1 Priest, 2 Devoted, and 2 Clerics can help you alone hold your fort with great effect. Of course, if you have friends, do try to experiment with the combinations.
