What Is a Legendary Fish in Stardew Valley?

Speaking of fish that are topping the list of fish that requires arduous work, there are five so-called Legendary Fish in Stardew Valley which are top-tier in terms of acquiring difficulty. They are the Crimsonfish, Angler, Legend, Glacierfish, and Mutant Carp. Even more so, all of them require attaining a certain fishing level for you to be able to fish them.
With such a predicament, it would be a good tactic to reproduce them once you get a hold of them. But the question is, can you put Legendary Fish in fish pond Stardew?
Can You Put a Legendary Fish in a Fish Pond?
Unfortunately, legendary fish in Stardew Valley can only be caught once for every saved file. But, the case might be a little different for those playing Multiplayer because each player can have the chance to get their own legendary fish.
That being said, and going back to the previous question, it might be really a good idea to reproduce them since you can only catch one. Monopolizing them could bring you tenfolds of gold.
However, it really is unlucky that legendary fish, along with sea urchins and corals, can’t be put in a fish pond to reproduce. Upon trying to put them in there, a dialog will appear stating that the fish would be unhappy if you put it in there.
After all, there’s not much to these legendary fishes since they could only be sold or displayed.
Location of Legendary Fish
Each of the legendary fish in Stardew Valley appears in a particular season, except for the Mutant Carp, which can be caught during any of the four seasons. But, it is not enough that you know when a fish will appear. So, to make it a little easier for you to hunt these legendary fishes, here are some tips on where you can find each of them.
Crimsonfish
For you to be able to catch a Crimsonfish, make sure that you have fishing skill level 5. Then, during Summer, visit Pelican Beach and proceed to the farthest east side. You would then spot a bridge that needs repair. After fixing the bridge, you are granted passage to the fishing spot on the east pier of the beach. Under these conditions, you have an 18% chance of catching a Crimsonfish.
Angler
The Angler appears during Fall, under any weather. However, if you plan are planning to fish for it, you first have to reach a Fishing Level of 3. Once all these factors are met, head over to the northern end of the river in Pelican Town and stand not more than 15 tiles, from the edge. Particularly, this location is found on the north of JojaMart. This will give you a 20% chance of spotting the Angler.
Legend
The Legend shows up in a body of water, particularly in the lake near the log, situated in the Mountains. And if you already have a Fishing Level 10, you can try fishing for Legend. Ideally, during Spring while it is raining. Your chance of obtaining Legend will go up to 10%, especially when you place your bobber at least five-tile away from land, from any part of the lake.
Glacierfish
With its name, it is easy to tell that the Glacierfish turns up in the Winter when snow piles up, and glaciers are formed. If you have a Level 6 in Fishing skills, you can embark on a journey to the Cindersap Forest. Upon arriving at the forest, proceed to the southernmost block of ice of Arrowhead Island; this is the only tile you can stand on. Your bobber then needs to be at least four miles away from the land. With these conditions, there is a 50% chance of Glacierfish appearing.
Mutant Carp
Of all the fish considered as the Legendary Fish, Mutant Carp is the least elusive. Since it can be caught during any weather, maybe it could also pose a different challenge since you have all year to pick on what day it would be best to try fishing for Mutant Carp.
To somehow narrow down your worries about catching Mutant Carp. First, make sure that you visit the Sewers since there’s where it is found. Also, there is no fishing skill level required to catch it. Therefore, the likelihood of a Mutant carp appearing is 10%.
