Clive the Firestarter Location in V Rising

Clive the Firestarter is an important boss in V Rising. Not only does he unlock more craftable materials for you, but he is also incredibly important in beating a later boss, Quincey the Bandit King. So, for that reason, I am going to be sharing the location of Clive the Firestarter and how to beat him.

Clive the Firestarter Location

Clive the Firestarter can be found at the Bandit Sulfur Quarry in V Rising. You should see Clive walking around the area once you’ve entered the Sulfur Quarry. Clive’s exact location will vary, as he moves around in a circle around the Sulfur Quarry.

To find Clive normally, you will need the Blood Altar, which helps you track V Rising bosses that can normally unlock more powers and forms. At this point in the game, you should already have one.

Simply go to the Blood Altar and click “track blood” to start tracking Clive the Firestarter.

We recommend that you are around level 30 when fighting Clive, as that is the appropriate level to fight him without Clive absolutely demolishing you. You can do it at a lower level, especially with friends, but it helps to be several levels above him.

Clive the Firestarter Rewards

After you beat Clive the Firestarter he drops the following rewards:

• Veil of Chaos
• The Alchemy Table
• Enchanted Brazier
• Enchanted Torches
• Sulphur Crafting Recipe
• Minor Explosive Box

That last item, the Minor Explosive Box, is integral in accessing the Bandit Camp and being able to fight Quincey the Bandit King.

Tips for Beating Clive the Firestarter

When fighting Clive the Firestarter you should be wary of the constant AOEs he leaves on the ground. Give yourself ample room to dodge as he spawns multiple of these during the fight.

Ranged attacks will be the most useful during this fight as the AOEs he drops occur frequently. You won’t get a lot of time to weave in melee attacks during this fight.

Granted, Clive doesn’t do an insane amount of damage, assuming you’re properly leveled, but it is a very annoying fight for melee.
