Numerous distinct bosses will test your mettle as you travel through V Rising. Eroll The Stonebreaker is one of the first bosses, and he is the first that might pose a major threat, even with proper preparation. He’s a level 20 with a large HP bar and the ability to deal a lot of damage. That is why we will assist you with everything required on your hunt for blood. This tutorial will show players where to find the location of Eroll the Stonebreaker, his movements, and overall fighting tactics for beating him, as well as the rewards for doing so.
Errol the Stonebreaker Location
The location of Errol the Stonebreaker is in the Bandit Copper Mine in Farbane Woods. Errol will be in the middle of the Copper Mine surrounded by miners.
To find this guy easily, you’ll require the Blood Altar. To obtain this, simply keep progressing through the main plot and missions, and it will become available as a buildable after the Hunt has been completed. Users can then place it in any handy location in the castle. They will see a list featuring Errol The Stonebreaker within the Altar after interacting with it. Do that by pressing F next to it. There will be a questline described as Tracking the blood of Errol the Stonebreaker in the upper left corner once you choose the Track option in the Altar.
The hunters must now travel to the Bandit Copper Mine, following the blood trail. They can find this location by looking at the image above or their map, as it will be highlighted. It’s in the middle of the area, in central Farbane Woods.
Players will find hostile Bandits at the entryway, who will pursue them. Except for the higher level, dagger-wielding, rogue, they’re rather easy to dispatch. Errol may be found near the working miners on the lowest floor. With his huge name and health bar, he’s impossible to miss.
Errol the Stonebreaker Rewards
Here is what can be looted from Errol the Stonebreaker’s corpse:
- Aftershock – Smash the ground, generating a shockwave burst that does 100% magic damage in a straight line, inflicting Chaos Burn
- Big Stash – A bigger version of the standard chest
The Aftershock ability will provide the player with their first AoE spell, which may be highly handy for wiping out groups of lesser monsters. Because of the delay, foes have a chance to move out of it, but the Chaos Burn’s damage over time is ideal for maintaining pressure on bosses. While it isn’t one of the game’s stronger abilities, Aftershock might be a useful alternative depending on the situation. It will increase your DPS if you replace the basic Counter with it.
The Big Stash, which can hold up to 21 goods, is the first inventory enhancement that players can find and welcome addition to the expanding fortress. To make the chest, you will need 6 Planks and 2 Copper Ingots.
Tips for Beating Errol the Stonebreaker
Eroll is a Level 20 foe, and one of the first V Bloods you will fight in V Rising. His move set is simple, with only a few distinct strikes, yet he hits quite powerfully. To prevent being comboed, it’s best to play as cautiously as possible. Here is his exact move set:
Axe Whirlwind | AOE Whirlwind attack that deals stun and knockback |
---|---|
Aftershock | Smashes the ground, leaving a trail in front of him of Chaos Burn explosions |
Aftershock Barrage | Uses Aftershock in an X shape, sending four different attacks at the same time |
Eroll’s initial move is a powerful melee whirlwind assault with a big stun effect. If he lands correctly, you will be sent backward as well. Dodge this move by lowering the length of time spent in melee range. Staying at a safe distance and poking him with spells and ranged weapons will negate any risk of him stunning you.
The next problem he will throw at the vampire is Aftershock. The trail the attack leaves behind is highly dangerous. It detonates after a few seconds, dealing enormous Chaos Burn damage. When Eroll casts this power, he will look straight at you. This makes dodging quite easy. This technique may appear frightening at first, but strafing to the left or right will always let his enemies avoid the first wave of the ability.
Eroll’s final talent is to perform his Aftershock in four different directions, each originating from him in an X shape. By keeping at range and strafing to the side, this may be played around in the same way. His windup for the attack is also lengthy, giving players enough time to move.
A complete Boneguard set, which provides respectable protections at earlier levels, and any Copper Weapon, are suggested for confronting Eroll. While the Sword has the most damage per second, any weapon would suffice against Errol. None of them grant any kind of passive damage boost for this boss. A Crossbow might be beneficial for dealing free-ranged damage, but since it is a bad weapon overall, it is your choice if utilizing it is gonna be part of the strategy.
End
Being one of the first V Bloods faced in V Rising, Errol the Stonebreaker manages to provide gamers with a decent fight. The melee-focused warriors might end up with a tougher fight than mages, but, overall, anyone should be able to get through him easily enough. As long as the players’ gear and items are all up-to-date.
