Ferocious Bear Location in V Rising
A waygate near the Bear’s Den, where the Ferocious Bear dwells, will be found by players who have learned to fast travel. This location is in the Farbane Woods, near the map’s eastern edge. To enter, use the ramp to the south, which leads to the cave’s mouth, where the prowling V Blood awaits. It might take a while since you have to go around the whole mountain.
V Rising has incorporated a pretty cool mechanic called the Blood Altar to aid users if knowing the Bear’s specific position isn’t enough. By providing a trail to follow, the Blood Altar assists players in identifying bosses. To get the Blood Altar, you must first complete The Hunt, which once finished, unlocks the Blood Altar Blueprint. Collect 180 stones and 10 blood essence to build this Blood Altar.
Once the structure is complete, go to it and select to track the Ferocious Bear, as illustrated in the image below. Hunting down this V Blood will be a snap with the assistance of the map and the fragrance of blood visible to the vampire.
Ferocious Bear Rewards
By claiming the head of the Ferocious Bear, you will get:
- Bear Form – Transform into a formidable beast capable of destroying various items throughout the game. Increases your resistances by 25%, increases your movement speed by 15%, and decreases damage taken by 25%. While in this form, you replenish health a little faster
- Fur Rugs – A decorative structure for the castle
The real win here is obtaining the Bear Form Vampire Power which will allow players to transform into a bear. Doing this will allow one to destroy blockades and walls around the world, allowing them to find hidden locations and bosses, such as Quincey the Bandit King.
Tips for Beating the Ferocious Bear
This fight may be done at any time of day because it takes place in a cave. Veil of Chaos, an ability dropped by Clive the Firestarter, is highly recommended for some additional dodging. Any shield skill will come in handy because there will be multiple instances where a hit is unlikely to be avoided.
Going up against the Ferocious Bear in straight-up combat is a ridiculously awful idea. Using the crossbow’s range or the slasher’s evasion in this battle can be useful. Still, whatever weapon the player is most accustomed to should suffice.
Below you’ll find a table of its abilities:
Ground Slam | Slams the ground in front of it in a large AOE area. Boulders will also start falling from the cavern’s roof |
Charge | Charges in a straight line toward the player. Huge damage. Can kill in one shot with this attack |
Roar | The bear will roar in the middle of the fight, buffing itself. Its movement and attack speed will increase |
The Ferocious Bear has a relatively limited ranged skills pool. It will charge up to the players and assault them. Back out and avoid its Ground Slam if it gets on her hind legs. Boulders will start crashing down from the roof in waves, with the origin being the center of the smash. After the first slam, melee fighters should run back toward the bear to avoid the falling debris, while ranged fighters should skim past the falling debris.
A reddish aura will surround the bear for a short time. The Bear will Roar afterward, increasing its movement and attack speed while greatly slowing down any nearby vamps. Its attacks can no longer be avoided when it has this perk, necessitating the use of dodging abilities and shields to cope with them.
The Ferocious Bear is preparing to charge forward when it gets within melee range and sits back on its back legs. Any player that is hit will be stunned for a short period. If the bear has just Roared during this time, it can easily fire a barrage of strikes that will end the vampire before they can break out of the stun.
Only by timing their dodges and using projectile spells to chip away at the monster’s health can someone avoid its onslaught. If you can’t get out of the path in time for one of the Charges, the Crimson Aegis can aid you.
End
And that’s the Ferocious Bears’ location in V Rising.
