Destiny 2 has its fair share of excellent weapons, but today I will be specifically highlighting the best pulse rifles in Destiny 2. This list will include all of the best PvE and PvP pulse rifles and some exotics. This is up-to-date and will be relevant in the near future.
Table of Contents
5. Go Figure
The Go Figure is an aggressive burst pulse rifle in Destiny 2. Aggressive just means it has a four-shot rather than a three-shot.
Many people call the Go Figure a “solid” pulse rifle that can be used in most situations and is commonly used in lieu of a better weapon. Basically, until you get the exact weapon that you want, the Go Figure is an acceptable temp rifle with a fair TTK (time to kill).
It is also super easy to get (another reason why it is commonly used). All you have to do is open legendary engrams, pretty simple.
4. Blast Furnace
Another aggressive burst pulse rifle is the Blast Furnace. This thing can cause some serious damage and is deserving of the fourth-place spot as one of the best burst rifles.
In the Crucible, this thing can tear it up, although the Blast Furnace is a good pulse rifle in both PvE and PvP. So don’t worry about using it for only one activity as this thing thrives wherever it goes.
The Blast Furnace also has a good range and most of its stats are centered around that and stability. Getting perks that benefit these stats is going to be the best way to use the Blast Furnace.
To get the Blast Furnace you are going to want to visit the Black Armory and is a DLC weapon for Destiny 2.
3. Vigilance Wing
This Egyptian themed PvP pulse rifle is called the Vigilance Wing and it is number three on the list. Vigilance Wing is an exotic which means it is the highest quality weapon type you can get in Destiny 2.
Instead of having a four burst (like most aggressive) it has a five-round burst, making it especially deadly. That being said, it is far more useful in PvP situations than in PvE, so head to the Crucible and bust some heads with this beast of a pulse rifle.
To get the Vigilance Wing, you will need to get exotic engrams or rewards. It is an extremely rare drop as most exotics are.
2. Outbreak Perfected
Yet another exotic pulse rifle made it to the list. This one, Outbreak Perfected, is the second-best pulse rifle in Destiny 2.
The Outbreak Perfected is a kinetic exotic pulse rifle that comes with some nasty perks that make it extremely competitive in both PvP and PvE. The Corruption Spreads creates SIVA nanite swarms on precise kills or rapid hits, which is some really good AOE. Plus, it has parasitism which increases the damage the gun does based on how many nanites are on the enemy. They synergize really well.
To get this all you have to do is complete a challenge/quest.
1. Bad JuJu
The Bad JuJu is the best pulse rifle in Destiny 2. This returning exotic weapon from Destiny 1 is still just as good in the second game.
Why is it so good? The perk that the Bad Juju has is called the String of Curses “After each kill, this weapon will reload instantly and increase damage for a short time. Kills will help charge your super.” Does that not sound super good?
The Bad Juju will be good in any scenario, whether PvE or PvP in the Crucible.

What is the best Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2?
The best pulse rifle in Destiny 2 is the BXR-55 Battler. This pulse rifle has had some buffs to it (lightweights in general) and has made its way up the tier list.
Many different perks allow it to be repurposed for PvP or PvE. Perpetual Motion is great for PvP, and Adrenaline Junkie is great for PvE, for example.
Even better still, the BXR also has great accuracy, allowing you to hip-fire it easily, allowing you to nail headshots at a fairly decent range.
It also doesn’t hurt that it happens to be the halo gun.
