Hand Over Seluvis’s Potion to Sir Gideon
After making it far enough in Seluvis’s quest and also speaking to Gideon about Nepheli, you are presented the option to hand over Seluvis’s potion to Sir Gideon instead of using it on Nepheli.
Once you’ve handed over the potion, Sir Gideon Ofnir will tell you to return to Seluvis and act like you gave Nepheli the potion. Ofnir states that “he’s so far up his own arse he won’t suspect a thing”.
This proves to be true since he doesn’t change his reaction at all. Seluvis still offers sorcery training and doesn’t change his questline at all.
Choose Not To Hand the Potion To Sir Gideon
If you choose not to hand Seluvis’s potion to Ofnir then he says that “your plan would be a dreadful waste. She’s not herself right now, and though I have no need of her, she still has potential.”
Honestly, these two options aren’t very good. Morally, you don’t want to give the potion to Nepheli, however, giving the potion to Sir Gideon doesn’t offer you anything gameplay-wise.
Thankfully, there is a third option for Seluvis’s potion. Giving the Dung Eater the potion.
Give Seluvis’s Potion to Dung Eater
If you make it far enough in Dung Eater’s questline, you will be able to Administer Seluvis’s potion to the Dung Eater. This will result in him turning into a puppet which you can then use, much like the other puppets you can purchase from Seluvis.
Without a doubt, giving Seluvis’s potion to the Dung Eater is the best choice for Seluvis’s questline. Not only do you get to keep your morals and save Nepehli, but you also get Dung Eater as a spirit summon.
