How to Get Gasoline in Ark

Ark has a variety of things that you can craft including some of the most useful tools. Mostly, automatic tools require fuel to operate. And this fuel is Gasoline that can be crafted as well. But you need a few ingredients for that.

So, we are going to discuss how to get Gasoline in Ark. Additionally, we are gonna take a look at the tools that use Gasoline as a fuel. These tools are not just ordinary ones but they are pretty advanced-level items that you are going to need.

Without further due let’s take a look at how you can get the Gasoline.

Ways to Get Gasoline in Ark

Unlike most of the other items, Gasoline can only be crafted at a station. But it’s a pretty simple thing to do and doesn’t require much effort.

What you exactly need is a station and some basic ingredients. You can choose any one station from Refining Forge, Industrial Forge, and Chemistry Bench.

Now, you will need the following ingredients.

  • 5x Hide
  • 6x Oil

With these ingredients, you will get Gasoline.

Before you craft the Gasoline at Chemistry Bench you will need to learn the Gas Collector Engram. After that, you will need to have the following ingredients.

  • 20x Congealed Gas Ball
  • 20x Green Gem

Another great way of crafting Gasoline is using your creature. Yes, we have two creatures in Ark that can refine Gasoline for us. Phoenix and Magmasaur are the two creatures that have the ability to become living Forge.

If you have tamed any one of these two creatures then you can give them Hide and Oil to refine them into Gasoline. This can be the most efficient way and easiest way to get Gasoline. You don’t need the fuel as you do at a station.

Crafting Stations for Gasoline

How to Get Gasoline in Ark - Crafting stations

You will absolutely need to have a station to make Gasoline. You can craft a Refining Forge, Industrial Forge, or Chemistry Bench. Here, we are going to cover the recipe for each one of these stations. This way you can build any of these that you prefer.

To build a Refining Forge you will need the following ingredients.

These are quite advanced-level items which will be a bit tricky to get. But they are worth it because you will be getting an advanced-level station that can craft a lot of other items as well.

How do You make Gas Fast in Ark?

As we know that it can only be crafted so you will need to have ingredients for sure. Now, to do things a bit faster you can collect the ingredients in huge quantities. Once you have it, transfer all of those ingredients to a station at once.

By doing so, your station will keep producing Gasoline for you until it runs out of ingredients. And if you are looking to save some fuel on the usage of these stations then you can choose a creature for crafting Gasoline.

What Level Do You Get Gasoline Ark?

Gasoline is a pre-unlocked item in Ark. Meaning, it is available for crafting from the beginning of the game. But, it can only be crafted once you have the most basic station which is Refining Forge. Hence, that can be crafted at Level 20.

So, technically you need to be at Level 20 in order to get Gasoline.
