Those who defeat Nicholaus the Fallen can be proud of their ability, as they see V Rising through to its conclusion. He serves as a formidable buffer between inexperienced and experienced players that only a few get through. So, to help you progress through V Rising, we will be showing you Nicholaus the Fallen location.
Nicholaus the Fallen Location
Nicholaus waits in Farbane Woods’ Forgotten Cemetery. He has taken up residence on the uppermost platform to the north of the Cemetery.
Generally, players will use the Blood Altar to seek down V Rising bosses. You should already have one if you want to face Nicholaus. Head to the Blood Altar in the castle and track the blood of this dangerous V Blood.
Before hunting him down, make sure your gear is at least level 37. That is if you would like to have a chance. Nicholaus frequently summons high-level skeletons and is hard to cheese, unlike Quincey.
Also, Nicholaus’ location is in the middle of a graveyard filled with higher-leveled enemies, it would be foolish to come here under-geared.
Nicholaus the Fallen Rewards
Defeating Nicholaus the Fallen will reward the player with:
- Pestilence
- Ward of the Damned
- Study structure
Tips for Beating Nicholaus the Fallen
To properly prepare for this V Blood, it would be useful to first learn his skills:
Necromancy | Lifts his staff, summoning a swarm of Skeletons to his side |
---|---|
Pestilence | Launches three missiles, inflicting Unholy magic damage. |
Blasphemous Blast | Fires a single Unholy missile that bursts when it hits the ground |
Unholy Flash | Teleports to a new position and delivers light AoE damage when he reappears |
Nicholaus’ major ability is to call zombie hordes towards the player, who, if not cautious, might be rapidly overrun by them. When fighting with the horde, looping around the arena in a circular manner while shooting ranged weapons is a good strategy. If the Skeleton ranks get out of hand, use melee attacks and powers.
End
If your gear is over-leveled and you get his abilities down, Nicholaus shouldn’t be extremely hard. Just accept that you might die one or two times.
