Plague Briers is a new plant in the V Rising Gloomrot update and are used for several important recipes, mainly the silver resistance potion. Where do you get plague briers, though?
In this article, I will walk you through where to find plague briers in V Rising and their exact location. I haven’t found this information anywhere else, so hopefully, this helps.
Plague Brier Location
You can find plague briers in Gloomrot South and Silverlight Hills. This is a new area in the Gloomrot update, and so far, I have only found the plant in these two areas. You can locate it by looking for any plant with a yellow brier on the end.
Collecting these are important for progression. You will need to craft silver resistance potions to be able to mine lots of silver ore, which you will be using to make dark silver ingots. You’ll unlock the ability to make dark silver after beating Cyril the Cursed Smith.
That said, you could always just buy the silver resistance potion instead.
Another reason you might need plague briers is to create banshees in your tombs. Banshees are guaranteed grave dust and have a chance to spawn Scourgestone and Spectral Dust, so they are very useful for late-game material farming.
Because I haven’t fully explored the game yet (I’m only level 70), I am not 100% sure this is the only way to get plague briers, and I have yet to find any NPC selling plague brier seeds. If I do find them, I will update this page.
Update: You can get the plague brier seeds from vendors in Silverlight Hills, but their stock rotates so you will have to get lucky or try again later!
