You must head towards the center of the Cursed Forest. In the northern part of the world map, in order to find V Rising’s Ungora the Spider Queen’s location. The Spider Cave is where the V Blood may be found. Once inside the cave, you will run into a number of Spiderlings that are guarding the boss’ room.

If blindly exploring the eerie Spider Cave’s tunnels isn’t enough for you, using the tracking tool on the Blood Altar is a good method to locate this V Blood. Players can use this feature after completing the Hunt quest dozens of levels beforehand. After engaging with the Blood Altar, you can find Ungora the Spider Queen, the level 60 boss, on its list. You may start tracking her and seeing her on the map after clicking the Track button. As seen in the image below. Once you get into the Spider Cave, the blood trail will be pretty helpful in finding her exact location.

After eliminating this nightmare-inducing V BLood, vampires will get:

  • Volatile Arachnid – Bring out spiderlings that pursue your foes and explode when they get close, causing 100% magic damage. It emits a poisonous fume that slows opponents by 25% and does 20% magic damage to them every 0.8 seconds. Can be utilized three times
  • Ghost Yarn, Silk, Spiderling – Ingredient and Summon Recipes

The Flying Arachnid will be yours once you’ve vanquished the Spider Queen. With the use of this power, you may call out spiderlings that will hunt down foes before blowing up and doing magic damage to the surrounding area. Additionally, the explosion will release poisonous vapors that will continue to harm nearby opponents.

Players will also receive the Ghost Yarn and Silk recipes. Which can be used to craft other relevant weapons and armor. Spiderlings are a pretty interesting addition to the recipe book since you can now summon them to your stronghold.

Tips for Beating Ungora the Spider Queen

Ungora the Spider Queen Location in V Rising - Tips for Beating Ungora

Since the battle happens in a tight spot, surrounded by eggs with enemies, vampires should exercise extreme caution. Learning Ungora’s attacks can be very useful since she can be very hard to fight the first few times:

Poison BulletsCollects and shoots five poison missiles in front of it in a cone pattern
Poison BombThrows a big pool of poison into the air which splashes and leaves other poison puddles around the impact spot
Web ShotShoots three web attacks in a row which can slow the enemy
Volatile ArachnidSpawns exploding spiderlings that pursue its foes

During the battle, hundreds of little spider spawns will join in to help their mother. It would be preferable to get rid of them as quickly as possible since they become a real threat if they gang up on their prey.

The Spider Queen is surprisingly fast, as she will always attack nearby players with her claws. Her slashes are lethal, so dodging is advised. When she isn’t slicing up her enemies, Ungora likes to shoot Poison Bullets at her adversaries, which can become really bothersome once the eggs around the cave have been destroyed. They will initially work as a buffer since they stop the projectiles, but at the latter end of the battle, this attack is lethal.

The most dangerous ability she can employ is the Poison Bomb. Vampires can see her doing an animation similar to the one for the Poison Bullets, but instead of throwing it at the player, she throws the pool into the air. The spot where it will land will be shown with a red circle, where the poison will explode and send other puddles around that remain there for a few seconds. This makes this already tight battle arena even tighter.

In between Poison Bullets and Bombs, the Spider Queen will also shoot webs at the young vampire, slowing them and even stunning some if hit properly. If the player is stuck and she throws a Bomb or sends one of the Volatile Arachnids at them, it will be a quick death. Also, since we’ve just brought them up, the Volatile spiderlings should be instantly taken care of. You will instantly regret letting one get close enough.

These are all the powers she can use. Unfortunately, she will get angry in the middle of the fight and start using all these skills at a faster rate. Ungora will throw barrages of Poison Bullets at the player, with a Bomb in the middle and a slash after that. During this time, try to just get one or two shots in and then retreat. A hit-and-run tactic works best with this V Blood. Using long-ranged spells will make a huge difference.

End

Since Ungora the Spider Queen is not only high-leveled but also incredibly versatile, players should postpone this fight till they are 100% ready they can take her on. This horrendous monster represents one of the hardest fights, not only due to her huge health bar and damage output but due to the phenomenal number of little spiders that jump in to help.

Bringing friends for this battle is definitely recommended. If you want to take her on solo, make sure to be patient. Don’t go in if you can’t get away from her attacks. If you want more V Rising content, also check out how to get through other hard-to-beat V Bloods, like Terah the Geomancer.
