In Hogwarts Legacy, many of the combat and quests are based on levels. You can’t access certain quests without being at a certain level, and enemies are also much harder to beat if you are too low of a level.
What is Max Level in Hogwarts Legacy?
The max level in Hogwarts Legacy is level 40. From this point on, you will no longer be able to level up and gain talent points.
You aren’t going to need to be max level to beat the game, thankfully. The final boss is only level 30, so if you go to the boss fight at max level, you’re going to absolutely stomp them.
I went to the boss at around level 24, so you certainly don’t need to be max level.
Can you get every Talent in Hogwarts Legacy?
No. You do not have enough talent points, even at max level, to get every talent in Hogwarts Legacy. There are 48 talents in total, and you can only reach level 40.
Also, you only start getting talent points after level 5. This means you only get a total of 35 talent points. So, you end up missing out on 13 talents.
While this isn’t terrible, it does make it, so you have to plan out your build a bit beforehand. And, this is very important, you can’t respec your talents in Hogwarts Legacy. Whatever you choose, you’re stuck with until you decide to start the game over again.
Make sure to plan out what type of character you want before getting too far into the game! You might also want to check out what talents are best for what, as some are incredibly powerful, while others are lackluster. It mainly depends on your playstyle.
