During one of your early assignments, you will need to visit the Dogweed and Deathcap to find the Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake. Sadly, the shop is somewhat hidden in Hogsmeade, so it isn’t exactly an easy location to spot.
I’ll show you exactly where to find Dogweed and Deathcap!
Dogweed and Deathcap Location
The Dogweed and Deathcap shop will be at the very north of Hogsmeade. You will have to cross a bridge right next to the beast shop to get there.
You’ll have to scroll upwards to see it on the map, as it is normally hidden when you first click into Hogsmeade on your map.
A the Dogweed and Deathcap, you can find all sorts of seeds and combat plants. This includes the Venomous Tentacula, Mandrakes, and Chomping Cabbages! You’re going to need all three for later assignments, so make sure to stock up on them!
You can also buy the seeds for those plants here. The seeds will allow you to grow these plants in the Room of Requirement, which you might not have unlocked yet. If you haven’t, smaller plants like the Mandrake can be planted in the pot that Professor Garlick provides.
Although, some of the more advanced plants will need larger pots. These can be bought at the conjuration shop in Hogsmeade.
