Finding All Companions in Baldur’s Gate 3

Astarion Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Astarion can be found on the Ravaged Beach. He will be on the southwest of Roadside Cliff’s waypoint. The exact spot will be near the crash site. The coordinates will be X-Axis: 170 and Y-Axis: 287.
Although he is one of the easiest and first companions to recruit still you will find it challenging to convince him to join your party. As soon as you interact with him, a short conversation will happen, and after that, he will attack you. Later on, you can convince him to join your party.
Shadowheart Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Shadowheart is also one of those companions that you find early in the game. You can find her at various places. The first time you encounter her will be near the Nautiloid. She will be in her pod. But, you need to free her using a key. This can be found in a room close to Shadowheart.
Don’t worry if you missed saving her at this point, she will again appear close to the beach. If you still missed recruiting her then you will again meet with her in Durid Grove.
Lae’Zel Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Lae’Zel is another early companion. You will meet her on the Nautiloid but she will be separated right after the crash. After that, she can be found captured by the Tieflings. This spot is northeast of the Roadside Cliffs waypoint.
Here you will see her in a hanging cage. Before you free her up, you must kill all the Tieflings or intimidate them successfully. After that just simply shoo the cage with an arrow and it will be on the ground. At this point, she will be back with you.
Gale Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Gale can be found in the Roadside Cliffs area. Here, you will see a purple-colored waypoint which is called Ancient Sigil Circle. Simply just free up Gale from this waypoint and he will appear.
As he appears, a conversation will be started. After that, he will be recruited to your party. That’s the simplest way of recruiting Gale.
Wyll Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Wyll is found in the most simplest and easiest way. When you reach Emerald Grove, there will be a spot called Hollow. Get inside that Hollow and Wyll will be there training some Tiefling children.
Simply just talk to him and ask him to join your party. After a short conversation, you will be able to recruit him to your party. If there is a free slot then he will instantly join you or else he will head back to your camp.
Halsin Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
Halsin is at the Goblin Camp. This place is full of goblins and you must be prepared for battles before you enter the camp. Now, the exact location of Halsin is Worg Pen which is from upstairs at the northeast corner of Shattered Sanctum.
As soon as you enter the Worg Pen, there will be some goblins in there. Finish them up to free up Halsin and recruit him to your party.
Minthara Companion in Baldur’s Gate 3
The first time you meet Minthara will be at the back of the Shattered Sanctum. However, it is quite a challenging task to recruit her. While fighting with the goblin leaders you might end up killing her. You must be careful when you meet her.
Upon conversation with Minthara ask her to meet you in Emerald Grove. She will meet you there with the Tieflings. At this point, agree to whatever she says. Later, at the Moonrise Towers, you will meet her again where you can permanently recruit her.
Karlach As Companion
Karlach is found near the south of Risen Road on a river stream. Move on to the path until you see wounded Karlach close to the river. Upon reaching her, you will get to know that she is being hunted by a group of Paladins.
The leader of this group is Anders who offers you a sword if you kill Karlach. But if you want to recruit Karlach then you must finish off Anders with his whole squad. This allows you to recruit Karlach to your party.
Minsc As Companion
Minsc is a companion that you find later in the game when you have access to Baldur’s Gate City. He will be in the sewers area of the lower city. What you need to do is simply follow the Jaheria’s questline and you will eventually end up encountering Minsc.
Just make sure that he stays alive throughout the quest so that you can recruit him at the end. The exact location of Minsc will be in the sewers which is at the coordinates X-Axis: -244 and Y-Axis: 875.
Jaheria As Companion
The first time you will meet Jaheria will be in Act 2. You will find her guarding the Last Light Inn. After meeting her at the Last Light Inn, you guys will again meet when you are ready to attack the Moonrise Towers.
At this point, you can ask Jaheria to join your party. But this will be a temporary recruitment. Now, at the end of the battle, you’ll have the option to recruit her as your party member permanently.
