Planting Crops in Stardew Valley
Planting crops is one of the basic skills that a player has to learn in playing Stardew Valley. Aside from the fact that it will definitely not look like a farm if there are no healthy plants growing, these are also considered a necessity as they can give essential produce that can be crafted into something else. However, the player needs to replant upon harvest which sounds like tedious work. With that, it is just right for you to learn about the crops that regrow.
There is a total of 44 crops in Stardew Valley, but some of these are not easily obtainable. All of these can grow on your farm, but only during the specific season it can tolerate that is why there are seasonal seeds. Aside from the land on your farm, you can plant on any tilled land on the map.
All Crops That Regrow
Among the 44 crops in Stardew Valley, only 15 of them are capable of regrowing.
Regrowing pertains to the ability of the plant to bear another flower or fruit after harvesting. Each crop has a different time requirement until the seed becomes a mature plant. Once the plant becomes fully mature, it will be ready for harvest. But remember that only plants that regrow remain on the soil after harvest as they prepare for another bearing.
Similar to how plants are in the real world, there is also a specific season where they bloom and wither. It is important to note that no crops can grow during the winter season. Although you can freely plant at any time, the growth and the production of its fruit are not guaranteed.
Here are all the plants that regrow in Stardew Valley including their best season.
Spring Crops
During spring, there are three crops that can regrow. Once the calendar reaches the 1st of Summer, all regrowing Spring crops will automatically wither and die.
Coffee Bean
The first spring crop that you can enjoy the bearings for a long time is Coffee bean. Unlike other seeds, you cannot easily obtain a coffee bean by purchasing it from Pierre’s General Store or from JojaMart. A coffee bean can be sold for 15 gold, 18 gold, 22 gold, or 30 gold depending on its quality.
