7 Days to Die How to Make Cement

Cement is one of the most useful items in 7 Days to Die that you can make at your base. This item is categorized under resources and building materials. Cement is not that much used in the game. Although, the by-products of it are extremely helpful.

There are actually two ways to obtain Cement. The first one is looting it from the Pallets and the second one is crafting it. It’s really easy to craft Cement because you just need a single for that. Also, you should have a Forge Station at your base.

This guide covers everything about the Cement. From its making to its use, you will get to know every detail. So, let’s get started.

Making Cement in 7 Days to Die

In 7 Days to Die, we have two ways to obtain Cement. Either we can make it at our base or we can head out and loot it from the pallets. If you are planning to loot it then you should look for the pallets that have blue bags on them.

These bags are actually Cement bags. These bags can be harvested to obtain Cement. But to do that you will need to have a Shovel with you. Hit the bags with the Shovel and you will gather the Cement in your inventory.

Now, if you don’t have the Shovel then you can craft an Iron Shovel using the following items.

  • 16x Forged Iron
  • 10x Wood
  • 2x Leather
  • 2x Duct Tape

That’s how you obtain Cement through looting.

Moving on, we have another method of getting Cement. In this method, we have to craft Cement at our base with just one item and that is Small Stone. Yes, you just need 15x Small Stones to craft 1x Cement.

But, make sure that you have Forge Station at your base. Because the recipe of Cement is available at the Forge. Don’t worry if you don’t have the Forge yet. With the following recipe, you can craft the Forge Station.

  • 50x Cobblestone Rocks
  • 1x Wood Log
  • 10x Leather
  • 3x Duct Tape
  • 3x Short Iron Pipe

And that’s how you craft the Forge Station. Now, you can easily make cement right at your base in 7 Days to Die.

Using the Cement

Now, once the Cement is ready, you can use it in two recipes. You can’t make many items with cement. However, the two items crafted from it are much more useful.

Here’s what you can get with Cement.

  • Concrete Mix can be crafted using a Cement Mixer using 1x Crushed Sand, 1x Small Stone, and 1x Cement.
  • Stone can be crafted using a Cement Mixer using 10x Crushed Sand, 18x Small Stone, and 4x Cement.

Now the Concrete Mix that you get from Cement is needed to craft Concrete Blocks. These blocks provide ultimate protection to your base. They are one of the strongest building materials that you can have in the game.

The next item is stone which is also a building material. You can use it in various building tasks or you can also keep it as a decorative item at your base.

Apart from Cement, we have many other useful resources and items in the game that are grouped in the building materials. Items such as Iron, Steel, Cobblestone, Oil, and others are all the resources. Each one of these items is obtained through different methods.

Some of them are crafted while others are obtained by mining. Because most of the natural resources are hidden underground and you can mine them with the proper tools.

Why Can’t I Craft Cement in 7 Days to Die?

There are two reasons for that. Either you don’t have what it needs to be crafted or you don’t have the right workstation at your base. Cement is crafted from Small Stones. Make sure that you have enough Small Stones in your inventory.

Once you have that, another thing on our checklist is Forge Station. Cement is crafted at Forge Station. If you don’t have it then you can’t craft it.

What is the Easiest Way to Make Cement?

There is only one way to make Cement in 7 Days to Die. And that is using the Small Stones in the Forge Station. With 15x Small Stone, you can craft 1x Cement in 3 seconds. That’s the easiest way to get the Cement.
