Starfield is based in a futuristic universe where everything is governed by advanced technology. Judging from previous titles, we had the magical shouts in Skyrim and VATs in the Fallout series. So naturally, Starfield must offer some sort of superpowers that make you the superhero of space. Fortunately, Bethesda has introduced a whole new Starfield Powers system that can make you feel God-like in the game.
Basically, these powers are bound with an artifact that connects to its respective temple. So, to unlock all 24 Starfield powers, you must travel to distant planets in unknown Starsystems. The only problem is that the game doesn’t guide you to these locations. Therefore, this article provides all 24 Starfield powers, their effects, and how to get them.

What are Starfield Powers?
Bethesda always finds new ways to add superpowers to your character. Sometimes, these powers are magical shouts like Fus Ro Dah. Other times, they are simple VAT systems. Similarly, Starfield has its own character powers that allow you to perform unexplainable actions.
There are about 24 powers in Starfield’s power tree, and all of them are locked inside their respective temples. Furthermore, each temple corresponds to a unique artifact. So, once you solve the mini-game inside a temple, you will unlock the power related to that artifact.
You will unlock Starfield’s power system after the “Into the Unknown” quest. After this quest, Vladimir shows you how to acquire even more powers during the “Power from Beyond” and “Revelations” quests. Finally, you can complete side quests and join all factions to obtain even more powers.

How to Unlock Starfield Powers?
You will gain your first power, “Anti-Gravity,” after completing the “Into the Unknown” quest. A short summary of this quest is that Vladimir sends you to recover artifacts from two planets and place them in The Lodge. Using these recovered artifacts, Vladimir decodes the location of the Temple Eta.
So, you must head to the planet where this temple is located. Next, enter the temple, solve the infamous Ring puzzle, and enter the portal to receive the temple’s power. This quest teaches you the general method to obtain any Starfield power.
Basically, you must find an artifact and place it in the museum in The Lodge. Next, you will receive the location of the artifact’s respective temple. So, head to the temple’s planet and use your scanner to find its entrance. Finally, go inside the temple and solve the mini-game challenge to receive its power.
How to Find Artifacts in Starfield?
By now, it should be clear that you must find artifacts and place them in the Constellation Faction’s Lodge to reveal the temple sites. So, almost all Starfield powers are directly linked to various Constellation quests. However, you must complete “Worlds Apart” for Barret before completing the Crimson Fleet questline to obtain Sigma.
Therefore, you should focus on progressing the story as quickly as you can. Completing the main quests has several benefits: you will unlock some of the best weapons, make lots of money, and reveal the secrets of the artifacts.

How to Use Starfield Powers?
Once you receive your desired powers in Starfield, they will show up on the top left corner of the pause menu. Simply open the menu and select the powers that you wish to add to the quick access slot. You can add up to 6 powers in these slots.
Next, resume the game and select the power from the slot wheel. Finally, press the “Z” button on pc or “LB+RB” on your controller to use the selected power. You should keep an eye on the blue bar above your ammo indicator. This bar represents the available power, and it will drain whenever you use a power.
The good news is that the power bar will automatically regenerate once you leave conflict and stop using the power for a few seconds.
Conclusion:
Bethesda’s Starfield offers a whole new powerups system. It has the same function as Skyrim’s shouts and Fallout’s VATs, but better. You can obtain about 24 powers in a single playthrough. However, you must find artifacts, place them in The Lodge, visit the temples, and solve puzzles to get these powers.
