Azure & Farsea Gems in Lost Ark

If you’ve been playing Lost Ark but don’t know what Gems are, you’re missing out on a lot. This is because these Gems are capable of enhancing the skills of your character, something that can help you greatly in multiple scenarios.

Gems in Lost Ark

Gems in Lost Ark are unlocked after you reach the endgame. For this, you will first need to hit level 50. You will then get access to the endgame content, where your main goal will be to progress through Tiers. And after you reach Tier 2, you will be able to use Gems. These Gems can either help you with increasing the damage of your character’s attacks or reducing the cooldown time of skills.

Gems can be equipped directly from the inventory. You can equip a total of 11 Gems at the same time, and it is up to you to decide how many you want to assign to a specific category. While it is common to keep a balance between Gems that increase damage and reduce cooldown items, you can choose more of which increase any of the two if you feel like you lack in this area.

Azure and Farsea Gems in Lost Ark

At the time of writing, there exist two types of Gems in Lost Ark; Azure and Farsea. Both have their own benefits, as the first one is used to increase the damage of attacks, while the other one can reduce the cooldown period of your skills. Therefore, both of them are meant for different scenarios and should be used accordingly.

A lot of players don’t know that these two Gems have a difference in Tier 3. While they are known as Azure Gems and Farsea Gems in Tier 2, their name changes to Annihilation and Crimson in Tier 3. However, there is no difference between Tier 2 and Tier 3 Gems as only their names are different.

The Difference Between Azure and Farsea Gems

Now, as discussed before, Azure Gems will increase the amount of damage your character deals. These Gems are perfect for those players who like to have a more aggressive approach toward taking down their enemies. Furthermore, when facing tough opponents, such as Field Bosses, these Gems can help you drain your enemy’s health pretty quickly. Therefore, Azure Gems are something that can further boost your attack capabilities.

On the other hand, Farsea Gems are used to reduce the cooldown skills of Gems. Now, if you’re someone like me who does not rely a lot on the skills, then these Gems aren’t for you. However, if you do use skills frequently, it is recommended that you equip some of these Gems for your character. By using them, you will be able to use your skills more often as they will charge up quickly.

How To Get Azure and Farsea Gems in Lost Ark

Both Azure and Farsea Gems can be acquired by the same methods, and we are going to mention all of them.

Chaos Dungeons

The best method of getting them is by completing Chaos Dungeons, which are a part of the endgame content. These Dungeons are filled with powerful enemies, and you need to take them down to progress further. Chaos Dungeons are known for featuring some of the best rewards in the entire game, and you can even get Azure and Farsea Gems through them.

Boss Rushes and Field Bosses

You can also try doing Boss Rushes, where you have to fight different waves of bosses. Upon defeating these bosses, you will get rewarded with chests. These chests are filled with upgrade materials and Gems. If you’re someone who is a fan of exploring, you can try searching for Field Bosses that are found at different locations. You can acquire many Azure and Farsea Gems by taking down these Field Bosses.

Buy Them From Auction House

The Auction House is another excellent way of getting Azure and Farsea Gems in Lost Ark. You can use your in-game currency to purchase Gems that you can’t find anywhere else in the game. However, keep in mind that the better the Gem, the higher the price will be. Furthermore, you will notice that Azure Gems have a higher price compared to Farsea Gems. This is mainly because the demand for Azure Gems is more as players are always looking for ways to boost their character’s damage.

How To Sell Azure & Farsea Gems

There will be times when you have unwanted Azure and Farsea Gems in your inventory. As you can see above, each class has its own preferred Gems, so you can’t expect each one to work perfectly for you. Therefore, if you ever get Azure or Farsea Gems that are not meant for you, it will be wise to sell them. You can do this by going to the Auction House and listing them there. Make sure you study the market prior to listing your Gems as this will help you with getting an idea about its current market price. In the image below, you can see how the Gems section looks in the Auction House.
