Baldur’s Gate 3 How to Save Gale

Save Gale is one of the many side quests in Baldur’s Gate 3. But, this one is quite different than most of the quests out there. This is more of a reviving Gale than saving Gale. This quest starts when Gale accidentally dies.

So, it’s not that you can trigger this side quest by talking to any NPC or something like that, rather he is actually a squishier party member whom you can revive when he accidentally dies. However, the reviving process of Gale is kind of complicated.

It’s not a straightforward thing that you just interact with his body and he gets revived. Instead, you need to do a few things to obtain a reviving Scroll that is used to revive Gale. This guide has everything that will help you out in saving Gale. So, let’s get started.

Saving Gale in Baldurs Gate 3

Saving Gale is quite a different quest from those side quests that are part of your Baldurs Gate 3 journey. This triggers when Gale dies during a combat. As soon as he dies, a scene is played in which you are told about the resurrection of Gale.

When Gale dies, a dialog gets triggered in which players are speaking to the ghostly version of Gale. He says that he has hidden a scroll in his body which can be retrieved and used to revive him. However, he also mentions some instructions that are used to activate the scroll.

After he finishes the explanation, his ghostly version disappears. And now, you can retrieve the scroll from his corpse. You will have to go through a process to make it usable on Gale.

Reviving Gale

When you have got the scroll from his corpse, it’s time to activate it and make it usable to revive Gale. Here are the instructions that you can follow to revive him.

  • While you are opening the pouch retrieved from his corpse, make sure that you unthread the purple seam counterclockwise.
  • Now, pick up the flute, we need to play some notes on it.
  • On Flute, you will need to play the following notes: D E A D.
  • Answer the Mephit’s question with the following: “K’ha’ssji’trach’ash”.
  • When you get a prompt, give the letter to the creature.
  • Once the creature finishes reading the letter that letter will turn into Scroll of Revivify.

Now, this Scroll of Revivify can be easily used to revive Gale. Get close to his corpse, interact with it, and use the scroll. An effect will appear and Gale will be revived.

Is It Possible to Save Gale in Baldurs Gate 3?

Yes, Gale can be saved in Baldur’s Gate 3 when he dies. This can be done by using a scroll which is found from his corpse. Pick up the pouch from his corpse and follow the instructions that we have discussed above.

Once you successfully complete those instructions, the letter will be turned into Scroll of Revivify. This scroll is then used to revive Gale.

That’s everything for Baldur’s Gate 3 How to Save Gale. Saving Gale is an entirely different thing from most of the side quests that you do in Baldur’s Gate 3. This is no side quest, rather it’s just the revival of Gale when he dies.

Whatever, the reason for his death is, as soon as he dies, a scene plays in which he briefs about his revival procedure. Once that scene finishes, you can obtain a pouch from his corpse.

You can then follow the instructions that we have discussed above to obtain the Scroll of Revivify. Once you have obtained it, you can use it on Gale’s body to revive him.
