Best Alchemist Monkey Path in BTD6

Alchemist’s pathways can benefit from the automatic popping of lead-bloons at its base. Alchemist is affected by crosspathing. In Path 1, Alchemists are given bonuses similar to those in the Monkey Village to help sustain monkeys.

It can show DPS to alchemists and other towers in Path 2, which provides extra support for the alchemists. Path 3 offers alchemists an additional source of revenue, allowing them to better support themselves.

There are three distinct ways to employ the Alchemist, depending on the upgrading path chosen by the player: either to enhance other Towers, to destroy MOAB-class bloons, or to earn a large sum of money.

For some, the Alchemist’s slow potions-to-bloons rate may be an issue as a base tower. The image above was posted by user u/DontWeDoItInTheRoad on Reddit. What is the Best Alchemist Monkey Path in BTD6?

“Permanent Brew” is the Best Alchemist Monkey Path in BTD6. This is because Permanent Brew gives all your monkey towers an insane buff. Let’s get down to the nuts and bolts of the Alchemist Tower’s monkey paths:

1. PERMANENT BREW

Best Alchemist Monkey Path in BTD6 - PERMANENT BREW
  • Price: $51,000
  • Path: 1
  • Tier: 5

Permanent Brew is the final Path 1 improvement available to Alchemists. Permanent Brew Alchemist increases the length of all of its Stronger Stimulant, buff potions, and Acidic Mixture Dip potions to continue permanently, as opposed to the previous duration of 40 and 10 shots per applied potion.

While most tactics will settle for a lower-tier Alchemist or a less expensive boost, Permanent Brew offers a powerful yet highly expensive buff. It is far more accessible and a fantastic addition to your defense if you have a tower that benefits from buffs since its damage bonus is unique and comes with piercing and attack speed buffs that might be effective.

Players are not required to do so when it comes to cross-pathing, as none of the available cross-paths accomplish anything for this already potent Tower.

Path 2 will effectively allow the Alchemist to inflict more damage to bloons by removing the Fortified property from Ceramic Bloons, Lead Bloons, and MOAB-class bloons and dealing somewhat more damage to other bloons.

Path 3 is the optimal route for crossing the path, as it enables the Alchemist to toss potions quicker. If players pick Path 3, they will not require the second improvement, as Acid Pool is not nearly as effective and is a bit of a financial waste.

2. TOTAL TRANSFORMATION

TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
  • Price: $38,250
  • Path: 2
  • Tier: 5

Total Transformation (often abbreviated TT5) is the last Path 2 improvement for the Alchemist. When triggered, the Alchemist converts up to five nearby towers containing monkeys into laser-firing monsters. The primary monster’s lasers have 6 pierce each shot, while those of its subordinates have ten pierce.

Total Transformation is a costly yet compelling ability when combined with specific towers. Because Shinobi Tactics and Druids of Wrath may stack their tower-exclusive benefits, transformations of any of these towers will become incredibly potent.

Certain towers, such as MOAB Glue and Tier 3 Super Monkeys, should be placed far away from the Total Transformation to interfere with effective transformation plans. When it comes to cross-pathing, these tower players may choose to conserve money and refrain from doing so.

Similar to Path 1, cross-pathing does not indeed strengthen this Alchemist variant. The Unstable Concoction upgrade will inflict more splash damage if players choose Path 1 if they choose a cross-path.

3. BLOON MASTER ALCHEMIST

BLOON MASTER ALCHEMIST
  • Price: $34,000
  • Path: 3
  • Tier: 5

The Bloon Master Alchemist, more frequently abbreviated as BMA, is the fifth improvement available to Alchemists on path 3 of the progression tree. It grants the Alchemist the ability to toss special instant-shrinking potions once per ten seconds.

These potions have an infinite range and, when thrown, will target the most potent non-BAD bloons. Additionally, when splashed upon the primary target, the insta-shrink potion will hit up to 200 other bloons in addition to the original target.

The Bloon Master Alchemist, more frequently abbreviated as BMA, is the fifth improvement available to Alchemists on path 3 of the progression tree. It grants the Alchemist the ability to toss special instant-shrinking potions once per ten seconds.

Conclusion

This concludes our “Best Alchemist Monkey Path in BTD6” article. Here are a few points that summarize the content of this article:

  • Path 1 Alchemist may fully assist neighboring towers by increasing their pierce, damage, range, and attack speed, allowing them to enhance surrounding Towers to deliver the most significant damage possible effectively.
  • The Path 2 Alchemist is less effective while being able to inflict a significant amount of damage, particularly to MOAB-class bloons. Path 2 Alchemists are most beneficial when a player has several Towers on the battlefield, but they are not as powerful as they might be, and they wish to enhance those Towers to deliver more damage.
  • Path 3 Alchemists will give players the most help in terms of cash and the capacity to thin out bloons by changing them into Red Bloons; nevertheless, players will lose a portion of their revenue due to the bloons morphing into Red Bloons.
