How to Get Element in Ark

The Element being an advanced-level item in Ark is quite challenging to get. We have a few different ways to get this thing. It is mainly used for TEK equipment in the game. So, if you really want to have some of those extremely powerful TEK weapons then should definitely go for Element.

But, it cannot be crafted instead you will need to harvest it from the boss corpses. Alternatively, it can be farmed in Genesis Part II or you can also loot it from the supply crates.

All in all, you will need some great effort to obtain this item. But it is really worth all of your effort because you are getting some most powerful weapons of the game in return for it. So, let’s just take a look at how to get Element in Ark.

Ways to Get Element in Ark

The most common way of getting Element in Ark is taking down the bosses. There is not just one boss we have different bosses. By defeating each one of the bosses you will get a different amount of Element. The amount mainly depends upon the difficulty of the boss you are fighting with.

So, in order to get a good amount of Element, go for the one with the highest difficulty. Also, each one of the bosses has a different variation such as Gamma, Beta, and Alpha. Each variation gives a different amount of Elements as well.

Here is the list of bosses and the amount of Element you can get by defeating them.

  • Broodmother Lysrix: The Gamma variation gives 20x Element, Beta variation gives 56x Element, and Alpha variation gives 148x Element.
  •  Megapithecus: It’s Gamma variation gives 40x Element, Beta variation gives 110x Element, and Alpha variation gives 220x Element.
  • Dragon: The Gamma variation of Dragon gives 80x Element, the Beta variation gives 220x Element, and the Alpha variation gives 440x Element.
  • Manticore: The Gamma variation of Manticore gives 38x Element, Beta variation gives 135x Element, and Alpha variation gives 285x Element.
  • The Center Arena: The Gamma variation gives 60x Element, Beta variation gives 166x Element, and Alpha variation gives 368x Element.
  • Ragnarok Arena: The Gamma variation gives 65x Element, Beta variation gives 200x Element, and Alpha variation gives 410x Element.
  • Forsaken Oasis: The Gamma variation gives 85x Element, Beta variation gives 255x Element, and Alpha variation gives 520x Element.
  • Crystal Wyvern Queen: The Gamma variation of Crystal Wyvern Queen gives 40x Element, the Beta variation gives 110x Element and the Alpha variation gives 220x Element.
  • Dinopithecus King: The Gamma variation of Dinopithecus King gives 80x Element, the Beta variation gives 220x Element, and the Alpha variation gives 440x Element.

Once you take down the boss, harvest its corpse immediately. Because if you leave the arena once then you won’t be able to harvest the Element.

Now, the second method of getting Elements is finding the Element Nodes. These can only be found in the Extinction map. You can find these nodes around the Wasteland. Once you spot these nodes, defend them and you will eventually get the Element.

In the Genesis Part II Space Biome you can farm the Element by harvesting Element Crystals. Additionally, the Element can be looted in Genesis Part II from the Supply Crates.

These are all the possible ways of getting Element in Ark. The best and easiest way is to look for the supply crates in Genesis Part II as they can get you Element without doing much effort. Compared to fighting with the bosses this one is much easier.
