What Is Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley

Upon playing Stardew Valley, you might have caught wind of items that grant unique benefits to the player upon wearing them. These items are Rings. Each of them possesses different abilities that significantly support you in completing your tasks and other work.

One of these spectacular rings that the game offers for your aid is the Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley. It has a fiery orange hue that seems to glow. With its impressive features, it is definitely a to-die-for ring that one should have especially once you know its special abilities.

But, first things first, how can one possess a Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley?

Considering how precious each of the rings is, the way to acquire them would be, unsurprisingly, a not-so-easy task. Nevertheless, succeeding to get them is very plausible.

Monster Eradication Goals

If you desire to own the Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley, your primary goal should be gaining access to the Adventurer’s Guild where Gil and Marlon stay. The reason behind this is that the guild would be the one giving you objective missions to complete and upon your victorious return, you would be, of course, rewarded.

The missions, collectively, are called the Monster Eradication Goals, which as the name suggests, are comprised of hunting down monsters found in the deepest and most threatening parts of the map.

Particularly, the quest you have to take in exchange for a Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley is slaying 250 of either the Serpent or Royal Serpent. Upon succeeding, you will be rewarded by Gil and you can finally avail it to Marlon for 30,000 golds.

Serpents

These monsters are found in the Skull Cavern. They attack by flying furiously toward the player which results in a fair amount of damage upon contact. Also, despite being quite common and relatively weak monsters, what makes them troublesome to deal with is when they come at you in swarms. So, you have to make sure that you have a strong and sturdy weapon before going into a fight with them.

The Royal Serpent, which is a variant of the serpent, is simply a more dangerous type of the serpent, found in the Skull Cavern too.

Besides completing the Monster Eradication Goals, another reason that might give you a little push in striving to take them down is for the items they drop. Serpents might drop one or even some of these: Bomb, Prismatic Shard, Rabbit’s Foot, Red Cabbage Seeds, Spicy Eel, Void Essence, and Diamond.

Uses of Napalm Ring

How to Get Napalm Ring Stardew - Uses

Would the trouble of running after Serpents be worth it in exchange for the Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley? If you have such thoughts, here are the uses of the Napalm Ring that might just clear your doubts.

Area of Effect Damage

Napalm Ring would be very helpful, if nothing else, ideal, to be equipped if you are going to venture into caves or dungeons.

Once you are wearing the Napalm Ring, for every monster you slay, a subtle explosion will take place. The explosion is strong enough to destroy rocks within its explosion range, making it an easier way of clearing obstacles and finding ladders that may lead to another floor. This would also help you save up stamina; a two-birds-in-one-shot opportunity since you get to kill a monster and clear a way for yourself. The same goes for the forageable items immediately around the burst.

Aside from blasting rocks, the detonation could also kill mummies within the vicinity. However, you should take note that the mummies you had downed are the only ones that can be brought down by the explosion.

While you might think that purchasing or looking for bombs is the more practical way to do such things inside caves, you might be wrong. The explosion induced by the Napalm Ring can not damage the player. In hindsight, not having to risk inflicting damage on oneself is the more practical method.

Other Uses

Apart from the benefits it provides its users, Napalm Ring could be sold for a reasonable amount of 1,000 gold. It is also one of the rings with higher selling prices.

Also, since it has a vibrant and head-turning orange, it can be used as an orange dyeing agent for clothes. Also, other decorations that might need the orange color.

Ideal Ring Combinations for Napalm Ring

It is quite unfortunate that you can only equip a limited number of rings inside the game. With all of the rings, 30 rings, it might be a little difficult to pick which you would want to wear. It is a good thing that you can forge one ring with another.

Here are some of the rings combinations with the Napalm Ring that you might want to try for yourself.

Napalm Ring and Slime Charmer Ring

The Napalm Ring alone sounds like a powerful tool; having your slain enemies explode and obliterate everything in its range. Imagine how powerful you could be if you reinforced it with monster immunity.

A Slime Charmer Ring makes you invulnerable to the slimes’ attacks. It might be also right to say that they won’t attack you once you equip the Slime Charmer Ring. Even if you attack them first, they would be completely oblivious and won’t fight back so, you can take them down easily, without worrying about your own health.

Combining the Slime Charmer Ring with Napalm Ring would certainly give you a smooth sail in your cave expedition.

Napalm Ring and Savage Ring

If you ever came across a monster-infested floor inside a cave or dungeon, escaping could be your other option other than fighting. With Napalm Ring, you can just slay enemies near walls and rocks. In order that one of them reveals a passageway or ladder that leads to your escape.

What if you boosted it with a speed buff? What a perfect escape plan would that be! A Savage Ring gives you Adrenaline Rush upon killing an enemy. Which, in turn, provides a speed buff for 3 seconds. If you forge these two rings, Napalm Ring and Savage Ring. Then, you have a Plan B when things go wrong while fighting monsters.

Napalm Ring and Thorns Ring

Another great combination ideal for escaping a large group of monsters is Napalm Ring and Thorns Ring.

While you fight enemies, it would be quite absurd if you leave unscathed. But, with the Thorns Ring, aside from the damage you deal yourself to them, they would also receive a fair amount of damage upon hitting you. Therefore, forging it together with Napalm Ring in Stardew Valley gives you a higher rate of escaping enemies.
