In ARK, we have a few different categories of bosses. One of them is Titan which has four different bosses. For now, we are shedding light on the King Titan. This is the strongest and biggest of all four titans. Even there is no other creature in ARK that is bigger than this one.
King Titan has extremely aggressive behavior termed “Kill Everything in Sight”. This does mean that nothing can come in its way. To fight with this boss, you will need high-tech weapons, items, and of course some tough dinos.

ARK King Titan Boss Guide
Each of the titans in ARK has a different set of abilities which makes them unique from each other. Their stats and attacking abilities make them stand out from others. Titans being the strongest creatures of ARK can easily tackle any other creature.
Especially, the King Titan with its exceptional power can easily stand for a long time in the arena. So, you need a team of high-level dinos and weapons as well.
Entering the Arena
Unlike the other bosses, titans arena can be accessed from their specific terminals only. For King Titan Arena you will need to use the King Titan Terminal. When you are near the terminal, you will need Tribute Items to enable teleportation for the arena.
The following Tribute Items can be used to activate teleportation.

- Spinosaurus Tail

The requirement of each item is different based on the variation of the boss. The alpha variation needs the highest number of Tribute Item because it is more difficult and gives even greater rewards.
Base Stats of King Titan
All three variations of King Titans have the same base stats except the stamina. However, no other creature can match these stats. Here, take a look at the base stats of Alpha King Titan.

Watch out for the attacks of King Titan, even a single attack can be dangerous if your character gets a hit. Keeping a distance from it would be a good move.
Attacking Techniques
King Titan has so many attacking moves. Although, its main move is Two Hand Slam. You need to keep yourself safe from all of its attacks because they are not just basic attacks. Each one of them can do heavy damage.
King Titan has attacks such as Foot Stomp, Two Hand Slam, Charge, Tail Swipe, Tail Slam, Swat, Fireball, and Charge Long. You can expect some heavy attacks from King Titan due to its long list of moves. Also, try to scatter your dinos all over the arena so that it will get confused. This will give you a chance to attack from other side.
Weakness
Unfortunately, King Titan has no weaknesses. But there is one thing that you can do to make the battle a bit easier for you. There is a vehicle in Alpha King Titan which is known as Mega Mek. This vehicle can only be summoned in the Alpha arena.
Mega Mek has a buff that gives power to all of your dinos. Now, your dinos can do 4 times more damage to King Titan. Moreover, Mega Mek itself can do heavy damage to King Titan. It has a Sword Attack that has a longer range.
Items Dropped by King Titan
The main bosses in ARK don’t drop much of useful items but, the Titans drop dozens of heavy and high-tech items. The same goes for King Titan. There is a long list of items that are dropped by King Titan. But, do remember that it drops only 1 or 2 in a single fight.
Also, each variation of King Titan has a different list of items that they drop. Here are some of those items.

What Dinos to Bring for King Titan Boss
King Titan is the strongest creature in the game. So, you need dinos that can handle it easily. Especially for the King Titan you are gonna need some extra powerful dinos. Although, the ones that are for the main bosses can be used here as well.
Titans
The King Titan cannot be tamed. However, the other three titans can be knocked down and tamed but they are not easy to tame. Now, once you tame any of the three titans or just one of them that would be enough.
You can take Ice Titan, Forest Titan, or Desert Titan. They are the best tames against the King Titan boss. Each of these has a different attacking ability which will allow you to take down this boss in a whole different way.
The Ice Titan can use Ice Breath, Forest Titan can use Vine Grab, and Desert Titan can use Lightning Attack. If you take all three of these titans then this battle will be easily yours without much effort.
Yutyrannus
Yutyrannus is a well-known dino for boss battles. It’s almost similar to a Rex in attacks and base stats. A max-level Yutyrannus has some decent stats that are perfect for these tough battles.
It has attacks such as Bite, Fear, Courage, and Courage to Followers. All of these attacks have no doubt the best damage rating even for the bosses. And Yutyrannus in a pack becomes more powerful and stronger.
Giganotosaurus
Another huge dino for boss fights is Giganotosaurus. It’s more powerful than Yutyrannus because of its huge body and better attacks. Giganotosaurus has a Rage Mode which is called Rage Heart. When this mode is active, the Giganotosaurus will gain a boost in its attacks. This means that it will perform more powerful attacks.
The Rage Mode gets activated when Giganotosaurus receives more damage in a short time. This mode is extremely helpful in intense fights when the opponent is way more heavy and more dangerous than your dinos.
What Items to Bring to King Titan Boss Fight
For a King Titan boss fight you will need to prepare yourself f and gather all the dinos and items. We have already discussed the dinos, now it’s time for the items. The main thing you will need is the weapon. Secondly, some first aid will be needed as well.
Now, to list some of the weapons, we have Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Pump-Action Shotguns, and Fabricated Sniper Rifle. Other than that you must take some healers which will help you in recovering your character’s health.
How Many Dinos You Can Take to the King Titan?
You can take up to 20 dinos in King Titan arena. Even if you are going in with other players, you can still take a maximum of 20 dinos. So, make sure that all of your 20 dinos are of max level.
Moreover, try to make a team of dinos that we have listed above. This team will be far better than any random dinos.
What Do You Need for King Titan?
Firstly, you need powerful dinos. These can be either the other titans such as Ice Titan, Forest Titan, or Desert Titan. Or you can choose to assemble a team of regular dinos such as Giganotosaurus, Yutyrannus, and Megalosaurus.
Secondly, you will need to gather the weapons, the high-tech weapons, and some supplies such as healing brew and food.
