Where to Find Mountain Lake Stardew Valley

As obvious as it can get, Mountain Lake in Stardew Valley resides on the Mountain which is in the outer region in the northern part of Stardew Valley. At first, there are only two passageways that connect the Mountain and Pelican Town but as you progress through the game, several new routes will be available.

Now, moving on to where to exactly find the lake. Vaguely speaking, the lake is found in the middle part of the mountain, which you can also observe as you look up the map of the mountain. It is between Robin’s house and the Quarry, right below the Mines.

To be more precise, Mountain Lake is located east of the Tent in the northern part of Pelican Town. From another perspective, if you had opened the passage between the Mines and the Mountain, the lake you would find as you come out of the Mines is the lake that is talked about.

Mountain Lake as a Fishing Site

Available Fish in Mountain Lake

As another body of water, Mountain Lake in Stardew Valley is abundant with fish you wouldn’t want to miss catching. The lake is home to Largemouth Bass, Bullhead, Carp, Chub, and Green Algae. They are all available all year long s if you ever happen to need one of those, pay a visit to Mountain Lake.

Also, a few special fish could also be spotted and caught in the Mountain Lake like the Walleye. Although it would only appear during fall, on rainy days. The Walleye is needed to complete the Community Center’s lake Fishing Bundle. Aside from that, the elusive Midnight Carp which could only be caught on a rainy fall or winter day also visits the lake.

On top of that, one of the five legendary fish in Stardew Valley resides in the Mountain Lake–the Legend. However, you only have the chance to catch it in Spring while it’s raining and if you had reached Fishing Level 10.

Best Fishing Spots

The Mountain Lake itself is an ideal fishing spot. But, it would be significantly more advantageous to know which areas around the lake are the best spots and would certainly show the results of your fishing efforts.

First is Arrowhead Island. In fact, this is where you should go if you are trying to catch the Legend. But, make sure to end your fishing a little earlier because it is quite a struggle getting out of there.

A little further away from Arrowhead Island, bubbling activities could be seen. And you know that these bubbles signify the best fishing spot you could ask for.

Another good spot for catching fish is by the bridge in front of a conspicuous boulder. Right beside the entrance leading toward the Mines.
