Best Faith Scaling Weapons Elden Ring

Elden Ring engages the players with numerous weapons, spells, and talismans in a vast open-world setting. This game gives you so many options to switch up your gears and builds that virtually unlimited combinations are available. One of these is the Faith build, which involves Faith scaling weapons in Elden Ring.

Most crafty foes and bosses in this game will keep you busy adapting your strategies, improving your build, and scaling your weapons to add more damage and bonus attributes.

With the recent updates, Faith builds went from being a niche alternative to one that is highly recommended if you plan to dish out heavy damage. A Faith build wouldn’t be complete without Faith weapons, so we have assembled a list of the best Faith scaling weapons in Elden Ring.

If you do plan on going for a faith build, we recommend you check out our soft caps in Elden Ring article to make sure you don’t allocate too many skill points to faith. We will include the needed stats for each weapon here, but that article will go over in more detail how you should allocate stats.

Best Faith Scaling Weapons in Elden Ring

According to our list, the best Faith Scaling weapons in Elden Ring are Blasphemous Blade, Godslayer’s Greatsword, Black Knife, Winged Scythe, Erdtree Bow, Golden Halberd, Halo Scythe, and Golden Order Greatsword.

All of these faith weapons work great with Faith builds, and some of them have handy skills that’ll give you the edge in battles. Therefore, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the best Faith Scaling weapons in Elden Ring.

Blasphemous Blade

Best Faith Scaling Weapons Elden Ring - Blasphemous Blade

The Blasphemous Blade is one of the most overpowering weapons in Elden Ring, suitable for skillfully taking down many end-game Bosses. You require 22 Strength, 15 Dexterity, and 21 Faith to wield this weapon, so invest your Attribute Points strategically.

You can add some extra damage to the weapon by adding Physick Flask, Talismans, and Incantations. The weapon skill Taker’s Flames can dish out 4,000 to 6,000 points of fire damage and also absorb health from the foes. The scaling of Strength, Dexterity, and Faith for the weapon is D. To get this weapon, you have to defeat the boss Rykard and trade his Remembrance item with a woman named Enia, found in Roundtable Hold.

Godslayer’s Greatsword

The Godslayer’s Greatsword is a phenomenal Faith scaling weapon in Elden Ring that relies heavily on Dexterity and Faith for its attacks. As a Colossal Sword, its attacks stagger the enemies, giving you a window of time to land more attacks.

The Weapon Skill of this Greatsword is The Queen’s Black Flame, which infuses the sword with Black Flame and substantially widens the reach of attacks — dishing out devastating fire damage. You can use Talismans and Incantations with this weapon to amp up the fire damage. Upgrading the weapon will give you enhanced physical damage. This weapon requires 20 Faith, 22 Dexterity, and 20 Strength to equip. You can acquire it after a Boss battle in the Divine Tower of Caelid.

Black Knife

The Black Knife is one of the best Faith scaling weapons in Elden Ring. Known for its massive Holy Damage, this weapon is a brilliant choice for a close combat melee style of play. It’s a lightweight weapon, so the attacks are swift with a small range. The skill of this weapon is called the Blade of Death, a red projectile that decreases enemy’s HP gradually by 10% over 15 seconds. This skill costs only 25 FP.

The Attribute Point requirements to wield this are pretty low despite it being a powerful weapon, with only 18 Faith needed for its use aside from a measly 12 Dexterity and 8 Strength. The player can acquire the Black Knife after defeating the Black Knife Assassin near Sainted’ Hero’s Grave, located in Altus Plateau.

Winged Scythe

The Winged Scythe is a great Faith scaling weapon for the early game that’s usually underrated. It can attack with and defend against Holy Damage quite effectively. The weapon has a high critical strike rate, and boasts a wide-ranged AoE that sweeps across multiple foes at once. The Weapon Skill of the Winged Scythe is called Angel’s Wings.

You’d need 24 Faith, 16 Strength, and 16 Dexterity to wield the Winged Scythe. It will require significant time and resources to level up this weapon, but once you make this investment, you’ll have an incredible weapon in your grasp. You must travel to the Weeping Peninsula in the Tombsward Ruins in order to acquire this weapon.

Erdtree Bow

The Erdtree Bow is one of the best early-game Faith scaling weapons in Elden Ring for long-range players. Its Holy Damage is higher than physical damage, which makes it unique. You can also use it for a complete Faith and Bow build with some customization, making it a versatile weapon.

The weapon skill is an unswappable “Ashes of War” called Mighty Shot which can penetrate through shield blocks and has increased damage and range. It’s wieldable very early, with as little as 14 Faith, 12 Dexterity, and 8 Strength enabling you to carry it. You can find it inside a chest at the Erdtree Sanctuary site.

Golden Halberd

The Golden Halberd is a strong weapon that you can pick up relatively early but use until much later. The Halberd can be slow at dealing damage, but if you can land successful hits, it makes up for this. It has an Ash of War Weapon Skill that will significantly amp up your attack and defense points, costing 40 Focus Points and lasting a few seconds.

The weapon depends on Strength and Faith for increased offense, with a D scaling on both attributes. The weapon requires a relatively high 30 Strength to use, with 12 Faith and 14 Dexterity also needed. You can use the Holy Damage from this weapon to easily counter undead enemies. To get this weapon, you must defeat Godrick Knight — a field boss known as the Tree Sentinel — in West Limgrave.

Halo Scythe

The Halo Scythe is an effective weapon for the late/end game. It’s not that good in the early game because it needs a lot of upgrades to dish out significant damage. The weapon skill is called the Miquella’s Ring Of Light, which is a projectile attack that shoots a halo of light towards enemies and inflicts Holy Damage. With high stamina and Focus Points, you can shoot more of these and constantly deal damage.

The weapon has a high crit rate, making it difficult for enemies to dodge your hits. You can only scale it with Faith points and don’t need too many Faith points to wield it. To get this weapon, you need to farm the Lesser Cleanrot Knights. They will be patrolling south of the Heart of Aeonia in Caelid.

Golden Order Greatsword

If you’re a tank player wanting to inflict substantial physical damage alongside devastating Holy Damage, the Golden Order Greatsword is a perfect choice. You can use the “Establish order” weapon skill to blow up all enemies close to you and deal a large amount of Holy Damage. This costs only 20 FP.

A moderate 28 Faith, 16 Strength, and 21 Dexterity are required to be able to use this weapon. With the highest upgrades, the physical damage can go up to 210, and Holy Damage can increase to 252. To acquire this weapon, you should go to the “Cave of the Forlorn” and defeat a Misbegotten Crusader.

Those are the best faith-scaling weapons in Elden Ring right now. We look forward to updating this article when the new Elden Ring DLC is released! Until then, good luck, Tarnished.
