Elden Ring: Best Staffs

Elden Ring boasts some amazing weapons and staffs that one could only imagine before the game came out. Though the question of “Which one is the best?” often comes up, you will most likely choose the staff that fits your playstyle, rather than choose the most powerful and efficient one.

However, if you are looking for the best one, the one that deals the most damage and destroys your enemies with minimal effort, these staffs are the best in Elden Ring, by far. Here are the three best staffs in Elden Ring that will deal the most damage in the early, mid, and late-game and help you get past those pesky demi-gods.

Carian Regal Scepter

Elden Ring Best Staffs - Carian Regal Scepter

The Carian Regal Scepter is a very powerful staff, with an incredible skill, that can help you bring down some of the most powerful demi-gods in Elden Ring. The main scaling stats for this Glintstone Staff are Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Only characters with the greatest intellect levels should utilize this weapon since it has a crazy 60 Intelligence requirement to use. Though this staff is great, it is more of an option for the late game rather than early on.

The Carian Regal Scepter weapon is earned by turning it over to Enia at Roundtable Hold after obtaining the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen’s power. You can get the Remembrance by defeating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon at the Raya Lucaria Academy.

Carian Regal Scepter can only be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones and it cannot be infused with Ashes of War nor enchanted with Magic. The best thing about the Scepter is that it boosts the power of Full Moon sorceries by 20%. Rennala’s Full Moon and Ranni’s Dark Moon are the only examples of Full Moon spells, both of which are very powerful.

The Spinning Weapon talent on the Carian Regal Scepter looks to be different from other uses of the regular Spinning Weapon Ash of War in that it is thrust farther forward with swirling blue lights in the background. Unlike the Ash of War you may infuse on other staffs, it deals magic damage that scales according to INT or sorcery scaling. The ability is surprisingly useful since it can break the poise of enemies as it constantly hits them, and you won’t lose any precious FP.

The Carian Regal Scepter is the second-most powerful staff in Elden RIng, and the most powerful staff that doesn’t use a lot of FP, for players with 69 Intelligence or above. It also gets an S scaling rating once it reaches a +5 upgrade level.

Meteorite Staff

Elden Ring Best Staffs - Meteorite Staff

The Meteorite Staff is what you would probably want to use before any of the other staffs that we are going to show here. It is the best low-level staff for the players that haven’t gotten to those humongous requirements that staffs like the Carian Regal Scepter need. The Meteorite Staff is an excellent weapon for the early game since it gives an S scaling rating with only an 18 Int threshold. Also scales largely with Intelligence. It also strengthens spells of the Gravity kind.

Increases the strength of Gravity spells by 30%. Rock Sling, Collapsing Stars, Gravity Well, Meteorite, and Meteorite of Astel are examples of gravity sorceries. While in Limgrave, the Meteorite Staff is perhaps the greatest option for new sorcerers. The staff greatly increases early game magic damage and INT-based setups because of its exceptional scaling. However, it cannot be upgraded, sp staffs like the Demi-Human Queen’s Staff, which can be upgraded, exceed it later in the game.

The Aeonia Swamp in Caelid is where you may get the Meteorite Staff weapon. Right at the structure to the southwest of the Street of Sages Ruins. The staff is in a cramped space with poison flowers, a rune, and a corpse hanging from a ledge.

A good way to use this staff is to offhand it with a better staff and slowly upgrade that new staff till this one can be fully abandoned. However, since it is the best staff till you reach level 60 Intelligence, it deserves a spot on this “best staffs in Elden Ring” list.

Lusat’s Glintstone Staff

Elden Ring Best Staffs - Lusat's Glintstone Staff

The most powerful staff in Elden Ring, Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is a force to be reckoned with. It deals the most amount of damage for a high-leveled sorcerer, but it also increases the use of FP for all spells by 50%, making this weapon a very risky one. The Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is a good weapon for conjuring high sorcery damage and scales largely with Strength and Intelligence.

The weapon known as the Lusat’s Glintstone Staff may be discovered in Sellia, the Town of Sorcery. After you fight the Nox Swordstress & Nox Priest monster pair, you can find it in a chest to the north of their chamber.

The staff has a 10 Strength and 52 Intelligence requirement. This weapon may be used without having 10 Strength because it solely affects the staff’s melee damage and has no influence on the Sorcery Scaling factor. Also, Lusat’s Glintstone Staff can only be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones.

Outside of natural sorcery scaling, there is no increase in sorcery damage. The additional scaling provides around 10% more damage than the Carian Regal Scepter at 80 and 99 INT. So, by taking the 50% increased FP cost, it is your choice if the Scepter or Lusat’s Staff is the best one in Elden Ring.

End

And now you know which ones are the best. Though, objectively, Lusat’s Glintstone Staff deals the most damage in the game, many would still consider the Carian Regal Scepter as the best one in Elden Ring, since it doesn’t waste as much FP. In the end, it all comes down to taste. If you want to nuke your enemies, you know which one to pick.

If you want to use magic left and right, or if you are still in the early parts of the game, you still have many choices. The game offers you endless possibilities, and you just have to see which one is the right one for you.

Now that you know and got the best staffs in Elden Ring, the Lands Between experience is not even close to done.
