Grayson the Armourer Location in V Rising

In V Rising, adventures play as a vampire on a harsh planet where the only way to live is to gather blood. Players can create strongholds so that, together with their comrades, they may consolidate power and dominate the world. If one wants to take on Grayson the Armourer on their own, they will need all the support one can get. V Bloods are extremely valuable targets for vampires, as they unlock new crafting blueprints and powerful abilities. While gamers can track their scent, it is also useful to simply know where these dangerous adversaries are waiting. That is why, we will present you with the exact location of V Rising’s Grayson the Armourer and teach you a little about him, to make the fight easier.

Grayson The Armourer is a V Blood that may be found after completing the Blood Hunt mission. He’s an ax-wielding boss that can crash into his adversaries and blast projectile damage, making him one of the game’s most difficult bosses.

Grayson the Armourer can be found at the Bandit Armory on the western edge of the Farbane Woods. A map of Grayson’s exact position may be found at the start of the guide. Grayson the Armourer is resting in the northwestern portion of Farbane Woods, across the river from where the central and western halves meet.

If knowing Grayson’s exact location is not enough, V Rising has included a new function called Blood Altar to guide players. The Blood Altar aids players in locating bosses by leaving a trail to follow. To get the Blood Altar, gamers must first finish The Hunt, which unlocks the Blood Altar Blueprint once completed. To make a Blood Altar, gather 180 Stones and 10 Blood Essence.

Head to the Altar once it’s built and choose to track Grayson, as shown in the picture below. With the help of the map and the scent of blood, visible to the vampire, hunting down this V Blood will be a breeze.

By hunting down Grayson, young vampires will get:

  • Crimson Aegis – A shield equivalent to 200 percent of your spell power is applied to yourself. This shield can also buff nearby companions. Once the shield is applied, it will also knock nearby foes back
  • Five-Finger Workboards, Long Boards, Assortment of Statues – Various structures that players can build in their castle
  • Whetstone – Vital resource for stronghold constructions and structures

Crimson Aegis is a great skill for defensive-type players and tanks. Vampires that use it can properly support their teammates through tons of mobs. The Whetstone is also a great addition to your research, as it will become one of the most important craftables in the game.

Tips for Beating Grayson the Armourer

Lower-leveled vampires should continue with caution since Grayson the Armourer is level 27. As a result, before looking for him, make sure your Gear level is at least 28-29 for an easy battle.

Here are the powers that he will utilize to destroy you:

Caltrop Trap

Throws many traps around the area. They deal minimal damage and are there to annoy the player, rather than kill him

Whirlwind

Starts spinning around with his hammer. Deals a decent amount of damage and knockback

Axe Throw

Charges up three axes to throw at the player. They have a cone-shaped area of attack

Grayson will immediately begin assaulting intruders as soon as they are noticed. He’ll start by hurling dozens of caltrops, which should be dodged. If you tread on them and receive damage, use your Vermin Slave to heal right away. Grayson prides himself in his strong melee approach. In between close range assaults, he will lay those traps again and again. This will somewhat limit your movement. Fortunately, you may simply stay your distance or loop around to avoid stepping on the traps.

This battle should be fought with axes, swords, or spears. It is preferable, but not required, to have rapid weapons with strong attack speed. If you’re battling alongside friends, a mace can be used by one or two companions to quickly beat this V Blood.

His two main battle abilities aren’t that hard to avoid or predict. The knockback from the Whirlwind is strong, but besides that, there is nothing to worry about.

How to Craft Whetstone

How to Craft Whetstone

Now that you’ve gotten the Whetstone recipe, all that’s needed is to learn how to craft it! The following components are required to make one Whetstone in V Rising: one Copper Ingot and 12 Stone Dust.

Copper ingots may be obtained by mining the orange copper rocks found around the world for ore – note that you’ll need a reinforced bone mace for this – and then smelting them into ingots in the furnace. 60 copper ore and 480 stone are required for each copper ingot. When you crush 12 raw stones to make stone bricks, you receive stone dust as a byproduct.

End

Grayson the Armourer is a good starting boss for many of the V Rising players to test out their skills and weapons. His attack patterns are predictable and his most dangerous ability is just a nuisance. This battle should be an easy win for any well-prepared vampire.
