You’re probably here because you want to craft a fire staff but can’t seem to find out what a Fire Mote is. I struggled with the same question but here is the exact answer to where to find Fire Motes in New World.
Fire Motes can be found by harvesting the Dragonglory flowers. These are most commonly found in Windsward, so go there if you want the greatest chance of finding one.
Most of the websites out there seem to be saying that Windsward is the most common place to find Dragonglory, which I find to be correct. I’ve tried several locations in New World, including; Monarch’s Bluffs, Everfall, and Ebonscale Reach, but none seem to have much (if any) Dragonglory. Meanwhile, in Windsward, I could find some within a few minutes of searching.
How to Harvest Dragonglory
To harvest Dragonglory in New World you will need a sickle (a tool you will have to craft) and be level 30 in harvesting. That latter part, being level 30 in harvesting, is somewhat difficult. It takes a while to get to level 30, but thankfully, not too long if you focus on just leveling harvesting. I estimate around an hour (or less).
