Leah Guide Stardew Valley

Even villagers in Stardew Valley have their own special skills and talents. Despite being one of the most talented artists in the town, Leah is still uncertain about showing off her pieces to the public, even though she is one of the most talented in town.

Leah is one of the villagers in Stadew Valley. She lives alone in her small cottage located in the Cindersap Forest. Most of the time, she spends each of her mornings sculpting inside her small cottage. Once you reach two hearts of friendship with Leah, you will be able to access her house starting from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

By reading this Leah guide until the end, you will be able to understand everything about Leah including her likes, heart events, and even how to get married to her.

Villagers

Leah Guide Stardew Valley - Villagers

Non-player characters or NPCs are just as important as the existence of the rare items that you can find inside a game. In the context of Stardew Valley, these NPCs are called the villagers. Each of them has a significant role in the game’s progress throughout the game as they give you quests, gifts, and relationships. Above all, they give life to the game – just imagine living in a big town with just you and your farm animals. It would be ridiculous, wouldn’t it?

The Stardew Valley villagers can either be found hanging around the town or staying at their homes or favorite spots. This is because they also have their schedules. That is why you must know the schedule of the specific villager that you want to be friends with and increase relationships with. Speaking of establishing a relationship with a villager – you can get married to some villagers. Some specific villagers are available for marriage, and Leah is one of them.

Leah’s Schedule

Although the villagers are NPCs, their schedule still varies from day to day. Different factors affect their schedules such as special events, weather, and season. Indicated below are Leah’s schedules under different weathers and circumstances.

Spring

Leah Guide Stardew Valley - Spring

On some days, Leah will have a different schedule and an example of this is on Spring 16th. On that day, Leah will wake up and scup in her cottage at 9:00 am. After that, she will go to the waiting room of Harvey’s Clinic at 10:30 am. She will then proceed to the left exam room in the clinic at 1:30 pm. After that, she will leave the clinic and go to the Stardrop Saloon at 4:00 pm, and go back home at 11:40 pm.

On Mondays, Leah will sculpt in her cottage at 9:00 am as usual. At 11:00 am, she will go to Pierre’s General Store and leave at 5:00 pm. At night, she will stand at the table in her house at 10:00 pm and goes to bed at exactly 12:00 am.

Here’s one to familiarize Leah’s normal schedule. Sculpt at 9:00 am, walk her way to the edge of the river at 12:00 pm, go to the end of the pier at 3:00 pm, and walk to the west side of the forest pond at 6:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, Leah will decide to go back home and stand at her table at 10:00 pm. At 12:00 am, Leah will go to sleep.

As mentioned before, some circumstances affect their schedule. Here is Leah’s schedule every Friday and Saturday on rainy days. First is the usual sculpting at 9:00 am. Then, she will move to her easel to paint at exactly 12:00 pm. At 2:00 pm, she will stand in front of her bookcase at home. And at 4:00 pm, she will go to the Stardrop Saloon and leave at 11:40 pm.

Summer

Leah Guide Stardew Valley - Summer

During summer, this is Leah’s normal schedule. At 9:00 am she will wake up and sculpt inside her cottage. At exactly 12:00 pm, she will go to the beach to draw if the beach bridge is still broken. Otherwise, Leah will go to the tidal pools to draw. She will decide to go home at 7:00 pm and stand in front of her bookcase. At exactly 10:00 pm, she will stand at the table and will go to sleep at 12:00 am.

On Mondays in Summer, Leah will have the same schedule during Spring. Wake up and sculpt at 9:00 am and walk her way to Piere’s General Store at 11:00 am. At exactly 5:00 pm, Leah will leave the store and will go back to her cottage. She will stay up until 10:00 pm, standing at the table, and will go to sleep at 12:00 am.

Leah’s schedule is as follows when Fridays and Saturdays are rainy. The usual sculpting routine at 9:00 am is first, followed by a painting on her easel at 12:00 pm. At 2:00 pm, she will stay in front of her bookcase in her cottage and leave it at 4:00 pm to go to the Stardrop Saloon. At 11:40 pm, Leah will go back home.

Fall

Fall

Leah’s schedule in fall is just exactly the same as other seasons on Mondays and when Fridays and Saturdays are rainy days. But Leah’s normal schedule is slightly different.

On Leah’s normal schedule, she will still wake up and sculpts at 9:00 am. At 12:00 pm, she will leave her cottage and walk her way to the east side of the river, above the Blacksmith. When it is already 7:00 pm, Leah will go back home and stand at the table at 10:00 pm. As usual, she will go to bed at 12:00 am.

Winter

Winter

Although Leah’s birthday is on Winter 23rd, nothing will change on her schedule. Wake up and sculpt at 9:00 am, then go to her easel to paint by 12:00 pm, and spend time in front of the bookcase at 2:00 pm. At exactly 4:00 pm, she will leave her cottage and walk her way to the Stardrop Saloon. By 11:40 pm, Leah will be on her way home.

On Winter 15th, however, Leah will leave her cottage and attend the Night Market by 4:00 pm. And the rest of the schedule will be the same as her schedule from other seasons.

Relationships with Villagers

Relationships with Villagers

Leah lives alone and has no relatives in the town. However, she has friends in the town including Elliott who is a writer. It definitely makes sense why they became friends and that is because they are both artists in their own aspects.

Aside from Elliott, you can also be friends with Leah by doing specific tasks such as gifting and visiting her at home to increase your friendship heart levels. But before that, you must first know what items Leah loves and hates. This way, there will be a greater chance for you to increase your heart level with Leah.

What Gift Does Leah Like in Stardew Valley?

Leah

Giving Leah the gifts she loves will surely make her happy, because who wouldn’t be? In other words, you should know which specific gifts Leah appreciates if you want to make her happy.

Gifts in Stardew Valley are categorized into five – love, like, neutral, dislike, and hate. This categorization is character-specific and doesn’t repeat exactly the same as the other villagers. Once you gift Leah, she will always respond no matter what gift you give her. But if you give her a gift on her birthday, aside from the 8 times effect, she will also respond with a special statement. A birthday gift? That’s very kind of you! I love it. Or, You remembered my birthday! Thank you. This is great!

Love

The items listed here are the best gifts to give Leah. This includes goat cheese, poppyseed muffin, salad, stir fry, truffle, vegetable medley, and wine. Aside from all these, all the universal loves are best to give to Leah.

If you give any of these as a gift to Leah, she will respond with Oh! This is exactly what I wanted! Thank you!

Like

These items or crafting materials are the second-best gifts that you can give Leah. These are chanterelle, common mushroom, daffodil, dandelion, driftwood, ginger, hazelnut, holly, leek, magma cap, morel, purple mushroom, snow yam, spring onion, wild horseradish, and winter root. Aside from these several choices, she also likes all eggs, fruits, and kinds of milk. Along with these, she also likes everything under the universal likes except the carp surprise, cookie, hashbrowns, ice cream, pancakes, pink cake, pizza, rice pudding, survival burger, and tortilla.

You can check out how to cook some of these things in our Stardew Valley cooking guide.

There are also some items under the universal likes that don’t belong to Leah’s likes. These are the foraged minerals aside from the earth crystal, the gems other than a diamond, and prismatic shards.

Upon giving Leah any of these, she will respond with a This is a really nice gift! Thank you!

Neutral

It will be easier to remember everything here, as Leah feels neutral with everything under the universal neutrals except for bread, fried egg, and truffle. Upon receiving, she will simply say Thank you.

Dislike

In terms of Leah’s dislikes, these are carp surprise, cookies, fried egg, ice cream, pink cake, rice pudding, seaweed, survival burger, and a tortilla. She also doesn’t like all that’s under the universal dislikes except for the driftwood, spring onion, and void egg. She also dislikes all foraged minerals aside from the earth crystal. Lastly, she also doesn’t like all the gems other than diamond and prismatic shards.

Giving her any of these will make her say Hmm… I guess everyone has different tastes.

Hate

Among all the gifts you would give Leah, everything listed here must be avoided. These are bread, hashbrowns, pancakes, pizza, and the void egg. Along with these, she also hates every universal hate except seaweeds.

If you happen to give Leah any of these, she will say This is a pretty terrible gift, isn’t it?

Leah’s Heart Events Guide

Leahs Heart Events

Aside from giving gifts, there are also other ways to increase your friendship level with the villagers – by completing the heart events. Each villager has their own heart event. Different situations trigger different heart events in some villagers. Upon activating the heart events, you may be given some choices for your actions that may or may not affect your friendship level. And for Leah, here are the following heart events that you must expect.

Two Hearts

This event will trigger the first time you enter Leah’s cottage while she’s there. As you enter, you will see her sculpting, then she will explain small things about sculpture to you and say, Once you get past the outer layers, the true nature starts to show. That’s when you will be given three options as a response to her.

It’s the same with people. Responding with this answer will give no effect on your friendship. Leah will also agree with you and say, Oh! Yeah, that’s absolutely right!

I actually prefer the look of raw, unadulterated wood. This option also has no effect on your friendship. She will say that there’s nothing wrong with that and that she thinks there’s lots of beauty to be found in raw untouched nature.

However, the third choice gives a 100-point deficit to your friendship. (creepy) May I have a kiss? If you are a male and you chose this option, Leah will call you a pig and will punch and kick you out. However, if you are a female, Leah will be surprised saying Oh! You’re…? (blushing) Me too. That’s good to know. Despite this response, she will still hit you with her hammer and will kick you out.

Take note that if you chose the third option, you won’t be able to access Leah’s 8-heart event.

On the contrary, choosing either of the first two responses will give you another two choices as showing support for Leah’s passion. These two choices also don’t affect your friendship.

Why don’t you have an art show in town? Saying this, she will realize that this is a good chance for the pelican Town to be a true art destination, but will also express her worry if ever no one will like her artworks. After that, Leah will tell you that she will think about it, and thank you for dropping by.

Why don’t you sell your art on the internet? For this response, Leah will tell you that she will need a computer for that, but that is too expensive. Then, Leah will say that she will think about it, and once again thank you for stopping by.

Four Hearts

This event will also start after visiting Leah’s cottage when she’s there. You will encounter Leah having an argument with her ex-lover over her phone. Her ex-lover is telling her to come back to the city. After the call, she tells you the story and will ask you if it is a selfish act to leave the city to pursue being an artist.

After that, you will be given five choices this time – the first two have no effect on your friendship.

No, it had to be done. Leah will agree with you saying, You’re right… I just wouldn’t have been happy back there.

No, and your ex sounds like an idiot. Selecting this will make Leah say, That’s a bit harsh… But yeah, and we had different priorities.

However, choosing one among the next three choices will have a -20 friendship, and Leah won’t reply to you. Instead, she will briefly get angry.

No, but you would’ve been better off staying in the city.

Yeah, a little.

Yeah, but it’s natural to care about yourself first.

After that, Leah will tell you that she’s been thinking about the art show or buying a computer. This depends on your choice in the two hearts event.

Six Hearts I

You will trigger this event any day when Leah knocks on your farmhouse door between 6:00 am and 11:30 am, except on rainy days. She will hand you the sculpture that she’s been working on as a gift. This present is called How I Feel About <your name>.

Six Hearts II

To trigger this event, you must go to the Cindersap Forest in any season except winter, and Leah must be there. You will see Leah reaching a fruit from the large tree above the forest lake. As a friend who helps, you lift her on your shoulder. After that, she will thank you and tell you that if her art ever fails, you’ll always be there to catch her.

Eight Hearts

This heart event fully depends on your choice during the two hearts event. Remember that if you chose the creepy one, you won’t be able to access this event.

If you chose to support her to push through the art show, Leah will go to your farmhouse door between 6:00 am and 8:00 am to invite you to her art show which will be held at the Pelican Town between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

On the other hand, if you chose the art website, you should go to Leah’s cottage when she is there. Once you do this, she will proudly tell you that she bought a laptop and started an online art shop. She will also share with you the good news about some Mr. K who keeps on buying all her sculptures.

How to Marry Leah

Marry Leah

Now that you’ve come this far, you might be eyeing Leah as your marriage candidate. In doing so, you must first increase the number of your hearts to 10 hearts. You know that the hearts stop increasing in number once it reached 8, and the only way to make it up to 10 is to give her a bouquet and a mermaid’s pendant.

Once you reach this number of hearts, you must keep in mind that you have to maintain this. To do this, you must continue giving her the gifts she loves, visits and talk to her every day, and take her out to watch her favorite movies.

As soon as Leah finally gets married, she will move into your farmhouse and add her own room. You will also see the small added space at the back of your farmhouse – it is for Leah’s workspace. Along with this, new heart events will also be unlocked.

Ten Hearts

To trigger this event, go to the Cindersap Forest between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm in any season except winter.

You will see Leah and she will tell you that she was expecting you to pass by, that’s why she prepared a picnic as a surprise. It is her way of thanking you to get her one step closer to being a real artist, and you two will share a kiss.

After a while, Kel, Leah’s ex-partner will come out of the bush and will eventually expose that he is Mr. K who keeps on buying her sculptures. Considering this, Leah will be disappointed because Kel was not interested in her art when she was not yet popular.

Then, you will be given two choices –  Try reasoning with Kel or Punch Kel in the face.

If you choose to reason out with Kel, Leah will punch Kel. However, if you pick to punch Kel, Leah will tell you that it is fine but That was pretty violent, <your name>.

Fourteen Hearts

For this heart event, you should leave your farmhouse between 6:00 am and 8:20 am on a sunny day. Make sure that it is not sinter and a Sunday.

The next sunny day, go to the Forest between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm and Leah will ask you to pain Marnie with her. Before starting to paint, Leah will ask your opinion on the art style that she should do. The three choices are classic country portrait, colorful, retro pop-art, and minimalist modern.

In the end, you and Leah will paint together and show each other what you have painted. Leah will tell Marnie that she can take both of your artworks, but Marnie will insist that you should keep your art and will only take Leah’s painting.
