Amongst the several important items looted from the various caves around the map in Sons of the Forest, the Rebreather is one of the most essential. To find the shovel, which you will use to find keycards, you need the Rebreather.
Thankfully, in the same cave where you find the Rebreather, you can also find the stun gun! Therefore we will cover both in this article.
So, this article will cover how to find the location of the Rebreather & stun gun in the Sons of the Forest.
Note: Your crash site is random, so you won’t always be in the same location or by the same caves as other players. You’ll need to use the landmarks in the area to find where you are.
Rebreather Location Sons of the Forest
The Rebreather can be found in the cave on the beach northwest of the map. It is quite out of the way of most of the map and will take you far away from the center, which has many of the other items you will need.
This is one of the caves you will hit early in the game because of how vital the Rebreather is. That said, I recommend only coming here after you have enough gear. There aren’t any mutants inside, but you might find some on the way there or outside the cave. Also, you wouldn’t want to starve halfway through.
Anyway, proceed inside the cave and walk the path. At one point, there will be a left or right you can take. Take the left path. You might miss it if you aren’t careful, as it isn’t well-lit, so shine your flashlight around the cave.

Just go straight forward from here, and you will find the rebreather!
The rebreather will allow you to breathe underwater but must be recharged with air canisters.
Stun Gun Location
The stun gun location in Sons of the Forest is located in the exact same cave as the rebreather. Remember earlier when I said to take a left? Go back and take a right instead. Down this stretch of the cave will be the stun gun, right behind the hanging dead body of this worker.
The taser is one of the more straightforward items to acquire in Sons of the Forest.
