What Is a Secret Note in Stardew Valley?

Secret Note 20 From Abigails Diary

Stardew Valley, all in all, is such a very engaging farming simulation game. With its nerve-racking and challenging quests, backstories to look forward to, and combat-packed adventures, it really is hard to turn away from your device once you start playing Stardew Valley.

But the fun does not just end there; this is where the Secret Notes would come in. Stardew Valley also comes with a series of puzzles to solve and mysteries to unfold which adds a little more spice to the game, and these are the so-called Secret Notes. As for the item name itself, they could also list secrets regarding what gifts would be loved by some villagers, giving you an advantage in terms of building a good relationship with them.

Secret Notes are found by doing anything that requires you to use a tool. For instance, they might drop after slaying monsters, upon catching a fish, or by tilling artifact spots. It could also appear by cutting weeds, choppings down trees, and removing tree stumps and logs. While mining, you could also, fortunately, dig up a Secret Note.

There are altogether 25 Secret Notes hidden around Pelican Town and it is not certain that you would find them chronologically. You don’t need to worry since you can decipher each note regardless of the order you solve them. To introduce one of the Secret Notes in Stardew Valley, here’s a Secret Note 20 guide for some tips for figuring out the Secret Note in Stardew Valley #20.

Guide for Secret Note #20

Magnifying Glass

The chance of acquiring Secret Note in Stardew Valley #20 is one thing but, actually reading the note is another story. To be able to have a sight of the contents of a Secret Note, you first need to have a Magnifying Glass. Without a Magnifying Glass, you would remain absolutely oblivious to the secrets written on each of the Secret Notes, therefore missing some important details in the game.

In order to have the Magnifying Glass in your possession, you need to complete the Winter Mystery Quest wherein you would look for an enigmatic, shadowy figure Krobus that seems to quite dislike interacting much with people hence, running away and going hiding.

By following Krobus’s foot trails, you would end up facing a bush near the Playground in Pelican Town, and there you would find Krobus. Upon finding him, you would then be rewarded with the Magnifying Glass.

Solving the Secret Note #20

With the use of Magnifying Glass, you can now freely read whatever is written in the Secret Notes. Now, looking at the 20th Secret Note, green arrows pointing in different directions are depicted. Right above this grid of arrows is a round figure with a green dot at its center.

Looking a little more closely, the figure might actually be familiar to you since it is the main square in Pelican Town. The green dot indicates a starting point, and a starting point only means that there is a destination. This is where the arrows are put to use.

Starting from the center of the red tiles on the floor, you are to follow the direction described by each arrow. To successfully pull off the instructions given through the Secret Note 20, you are to proceed only to the next direction dictated by the arrow as soon as you hit an obstacle.

If you are able to accurately follow the arrows, you will find yourself beside a car, parked beside the Cinema. You would then be able to talk to the driver, revealing the real mission behind Secret Note #20.

Obtaining a Rabbit’s Foot

By talking to the driver of the car beside the movie theater, he would ask you for a Rabbit Foot; this means that you had triumphed in unraveling the mystery quest of Secret Note in Stardew Valley 20, and all you have to do now is complete the quest.

A Rabbit Foot, as much as its name explains, is an animal product obtained by taking care of a rabbit. There are hearsays around the town that the Rabbit’s Foot brings luck. By regularly tending to your rabbit, you are bound to build a good relationship with them and improve their mood. Under such conditions, backed with daily luck, there is a chance for your rabbit to give you a Rabbit’s Foot.

In case you do not own a rabbit, or let’s say that there’s no luck with your rabbit giving you a Rabbit’s Foot, there are still other ways to acquire a Rabbit’s Foot and complete the quest under Secret Note #20. It is sold in the Traveling Cart for the amount of 1,695 up to 2,825 gold. So, if you have sufficient gold, you can just go and purchase one from the cart.

If you are into the more thrilling method of getting Rabbit’s Foot, you could check out your luck inside the Skull Cavern. In there, you can fight Serpents which have 0.85 of dropping Rabbit’s Foot. If the odds are on your side, you did not just gain combat experience but also a relatively valuable item.

Reward for Completing the Secret Note #20

After all the inconvenience you might have experienced by going to the Cinema and acquiring the Rabbit’s Foot altogether (assuming that you do not have one in your inventory before the quest), of course, you would get something in return.

As you hand the Rabbit’s Foot to the driver, he will offer you a Special Charm in exchange. For your information, you will receive a permanent 0.025 luck boost every day, immediately, after receiving the Special Charm. With the Special Charm, your endeavors could be done a little easier than before, especially those where luck plays a big part.
