The Best Wizard Monkey Path in BTD6

When playing Bloons TD 6, it is critical to select the appropriate crosspathing for each tower type to get the most benefits from each tower type. Each stage of the game has a specific purpose for towers. Like the Dart Monkey, the Wizard Monkey is designed to play specialized defense duties and be precise and dynamic supporting positions in the defense.

Even though Wizard Monkeys are considered the most simple of the Magic Monkeys, they are mighty and can help gamers demolish waves of enemies with ease. Unlike previous Wizard Monkeys, the Wizard Monkey has been split into two separate Monkeys. These are the Wizard Monkey and the Druid Monkey.

They can be unlocked and purchased easily, making defeating camo-lead bloons much easier. You can get a lot of damage from Path 1, but you can’t get a lot of damage from Path 2. However, you can get a decent bit of support from Path 3.

Crosspathing does not harm or change Wizard Monkey’s higher tiers but instead adds new attacks or upgrades to the character. Necromancer: Unpopped Army or the Wizard Lord Phoenix abilities are required to pop purple bloons. Regarding the best Wizard Monkey Path in BTD6, “ARCHMAGE” is the best.

What’s the Best Wizard Monkey Path in BTD6

If you want to level up and get the best winning results in BTD6, you need to upgrade the Wizard Monkey Path constantly.

One of the best Wizard Monkey Path in BTD6 is the “ARCHMAGE”. It allows the Wizard Monkey Path to shoot at a 2x rate equal to the speed of an Arcane Spike. Here are some of the best Wizard Monkey Paths in BTD6:

1. ARCHMAGE

  • Price: $27,200
  • Path: 1
  • Tier: 5

Against large hordes of MOAB-class bloons, Archmage is a particularly effective weapon. It may quickly destroy enormous blimp swarms into much weaker bloons. But, vast swarms of Ceramics may emerge from those blimps.

When used in conjunction with Overclock, it’s an excellent overall damage source against standard DDTs. And, it may thus be utilized to breeze through Round 95. Still, it’s only reliable on novice maps.

It’s comparable to Pre-Emptive Strike in that it can generate a large number of Ceramics from demolished lesser blimps.

Still, it lacks the high HP damage to a single target and has a more substantial but pitifully lower Super Ceramic cleaning. Players can use both upgrade pathways to cross to a tier-5 Archmage.

A non-cross-pathed Archmage will not be able to use Fireball and Wall of Fire, available in Path 2. You may easily wipe off MOAB-class bloons and their hordes of lower-tiered counterparts with the help of the Fireball or the Wall of Fire when they are used in tandem with Path 1.

However, players are generally advised to take the cross path with Path 3, which gives the Archmage camouflage detection, increasing their reliability when dealing with DDTs. Few towers in the game can compete with the Path 1 Archmage’s unhindered range and disregard for Line of Sight.

2. WIZARD LORD PHOENIX

  • Price: $45,900
  • Path: 2
  • Tier: 5

You may inflict massive damage on all the bloons on the screen with the Wizard Lord Phoenix upgrade. It has the potential to help clear some of the most challenging rounds, such as Round 98 if used correctly.

Even with the increased fire strikes and the new permanent phoenix, a Wizard Lord Phoenix without his ability is incredibly vulnerable. Hence this tower’s backup support is unavoidable.

The Wizard Lord Phoenix’s ability should be more readily available in challenging situations if suitable stalling mechanisms are introduced to the tower, like most powerful ability-based towers.

The unique ability of a Wizard Lord Phoenix is unaffected by either cross path. Therefore there is no need to worry about doing so. When using the Path 1 cross path, players can boost the base tower’s pierce to 50, making it simpler to shred lower-tier bloons that don’t have Camo characteristics.

To obtain camouflage detection, most players will choose Path 3. However, you may accomplish this by placing a Monkey Village with a Hero like Etienne or Radar Scanner, if you like.

True, a Wizard Lord Monkey doesn’t need Camo detection because its ability provides the tower with Camo detection. In my opinion, the Wizard Lord Phoenix is more of a support tower for those “oh sh*t!” moments than it is a significant damage generator.

3. PRINCE OF DARKNESS

  • Price: $22,525
  • Path: 3
  • Tier: 5

Prince of Darkness cleanup strength has been dramatically increased in Version 21.0, making it a much more formidable barrier to the exit. Undead MOABs and undead BFBs, especially standard MOABs and Super Ceramics in late-game, may quickly wipe out large swaths of lesser bloons.

You can counter DDTs’ camouflaging abilities with the considerably increased Shimmer attack. With enough DPS towers nearby, it becomes mighty. However, without those, it becomes highly vulnerable.

It also has Camo Priority, and its Shimmer defaults to Close when it comes to piercing consumption. The Wall of Fire’s default setting is Close if it’s crossed for a 0-2-5.To cross paths with the Prince of Darkness, players need to consider the type of map they’re dealing with and decide accordingly.

The Prince of Darkness can call Bloons further back and deal more significant damage if players are on a map with obstacles in their Line of Sight. Hence they should utilize Path 1 if they are on such a map. Because of the Wall of Fire, players should consider a Path 2 cross-path if they want to inflict more significant damage on more bloons.

Summary

That’s it from our guide on the Best Wizard Monkey Path in BTD6. Here’s a summary of what we have discussed in the article:

  • Damage from Archmage is most significant when players who can inflict damage on the bloons can do it quickly and repeatedly.
  • When dealing with MOAB-class bloons, especially DDTs, Prince of Darkness is your best ally. If a Path 1 can span a large portion of the map, and if it loops around, players will be more likely to use it.
  • Even without its ability, the Wizard Lord Phoenix causes a lot of damage because it constantly has a Phoenix soaring around, doing good damage to bloons as they make their way down the route.
