BTD6: How to Level up & What Is the Max Level?

Playing Bloons Tower Defense 6 is fun and will keep you entertained for hours. Players must construct various structures to prevent bloons from escaping past the level’s finish.

It’s a common misconception that players need to finish a map in its entirety to get experience; in reality, players can finish only a fraction of a map. Also, still earn a respectable amount of experience based on how many bloons and rounds they kill.

As in the case of the experience required to unlock towers, players get experience solely by dealing damage to bloons; this means that the more bloons they encounter, the more experience they will gain. So, let us get started with our guide on how to level up in BTD6 and the maximum level you can achieve.

What is the Highest Level in BTD6?

Level Up in BTD6

Level 155 is the maximum level players can achieve through grinding, even though the maximum level is 155. Players won’t necessarily need to be that high to conquer the game’s hardest content, thanks to the fact that they’ll be able to choose which kind of Monkey Knowledge they buy, greatly boosting the damage their monkeys deal.

The only other source of Monkey Knowledge is accomplishing Achievements. However, the amount gained is very low. Thus players will still want to level up in BTD6 to accumulate enough Monkey Knowledge.

Tips to Achieve Higher Levels Quickly

Tip 1: Complete New Content

The best method to level up in BTD6 is to take on more challenging content. Players will be motivated to progress through the game by the prospect of earning Monkey Money.

More challenging levels will reward players with greater sums of Monkey Money. So, players will gain more experience when completing more challenging content, with the amount of experience gained. Depending on both the difficulty of the map and the difficulty setting players to choose.

Simply put, players serious about levelling up should bypass the Easy difficulty on each map and instead begin on the Medium or Hard difficulty, depending on their skill level.

Tip 2: Keep Repeating Deflation

One way that gamers might quickly level up in BTD6 is to play through Deflation mode over and over again. To access Deflation, players must complete 30 rounds of a map on Easy difficulty, during which players will get $20,000 to spend.

Once all 30 towers have been placed, players won’t need to use their Heroes’ powers to win. Thus they can go “AFK” and still win the game.

Players won’t have the luxury of AFK farming on more challenging content, as players will not get a huge amount of Monkey Money. So playing 30 rounds isn’t the most optimal way of collecting experience.

Tip 3: Avoid Playing FreePlay

While I enjoy moving on to Freeplay after finishing a map in BTD6, doing so isn’t the most efficient way to level up in BTD6. Because the experience gained from that mode is significantly lower than that gained from playing normal maps, players can avoid seeing the same content repeatedly by playing on maps with more rounds.

However, I won’t lie and say that I don’t hit “Freeplay” every chance I get, especially when leveling up for more challenging weeks of Odyssey Mode, because the delicious reward of an Insta-Monkey is too good to pass up.

Tip 4: Play C.H.I.M.P.S or Impoppable

To level up in BTD6 quickly, you should play on the hardest possible settings, such as Impoppable or C.H.I.P.. S. Compared to the option of playing Freeplay, both Impoppable and C.H.I.M.P.S. demand that players finish 100 rounds of the map, but award 100% experience.

Achieving Impoppable and C.H.I.M.P.S. is indeed a tall order, especially for beginner players; for this reason, the Deflation approach may be the best option for newer players, especially if they desire to go AFK. Given their reputation as two of the game’s hardest modes, players won’t be able to go AFK in either of them.

Tip 5: Race More Often

Because players can start calling in hordes of bloons to their map early in the challenge, races are among the quickest methods to get experience and level up.

The time it takes for bloons to spawn is a major stumbling block to players’ ability to gain experience. In Races, the player has complete freedom and, depending on the type of race, and the number of coins awarded to the player at the outset, may be able to effectively skip to later rounds, even as many as 20 or 50.

For instance, I could skip straight to round 52 with zero drawbacks using two fully upgraded Towers last week, making it a breeze to grind levels.

Last week’s racing event allowed me to quickly and easily level up from 125 to 130 without wasting other Monkey Money on repeat races.

Tip 6: Ensure to Complete Daily Challenges

Completing the daily challenges is one of my favorite ways to level up. What’s the deal? It’s not uncommon to find daily tasks much less time-consuming and difficult than the actual levels themselves.

The main downside to random daily tasks is that many of them are set on Easy Mode, which reduces the number of experiences players gain because they will not be popping as many bloons.

What are the Benefits of Levelling Up in BTD6?

As previously indicated, there are multiple benefits to leveling up, the most obvious of which is access to additional towers.

Players will want to level up quickly to access the more powerful skills and upgrades available for their towers once they become available (these upgrades are called “Monkeys” and are locked until players gain enough experience).

For every level a player achieves, they will also gain one Monkey Knowledge point that they can spend to improve their towers. Some of the many upgrades available to towers include increased damage, new abilities, the ability to place additional towers, lower costs, and more.

Even though many players would reply, “How do I level up quickly then?” It is especially true of “Just play the game!” as progressing through the game is generally the most efficient method.

Bloons Tower Defense is fantastic because it provides a wealth of opportunities for players to gradually advance in level, particularly when they unlock new maps and towers.
