Getting Money in 7 Days to Die
Gathering money in 7 Days to Die is no big deal. There are three ways to obtain money. The first one is doing jobs for traders. The second one is selling stuff to traders and the last one is by looting.
Jobs at Traders
At a trader’s post, you can choose from six different jobs. Each one of these jobs has different levels. The higher level you pick the higher rewards you will get. On completing a job, you will be rewarded with XP and Duke’s Casino Tokens.
Also, the higher levels have high difficulties. So, choose wisely. You may not be able to complete the higher-difficulty job on the first attempt.
The jobs at traders are mainly related to killing zombies, fetching items, and clearing the area. Here are the six jobs.
Fetch
This job asks the players to reach a specific building or an area and look for a hidden Courier Satchel. The job is not as simple as it sounds. During your search for that hidden courier, you will have to face zombies in these buildings and areas.
Make your way through them and grab that courier. Head back to the trader and finish up your job. Once done, you will get the rewards.
Clear Zombies
This is a fun job only if you have the right weapons. You just have to get to the specified building or an area. That place is covered by zombies. Your job is to kill them all using any weapons. So, you can choose anything from a closed range to a medium range.
Just do a massacre and butcher those zombies. Once the area is clear, return to the trader and collect your rewards.
Buried Supplies
In this job, the players are requested to reach a specified area which is marked with a yellow circle. In exactly that place you will have to dig the ground and find White River Supplies. Now, when you dig up the ground, chances are that you will some additional items as well.
But, you just need to take those White River Supplies back to the trader to complete the job and get your rewards.
Open Trade Routes
This is just a simple job that includes going to a new trader once you have completed a certain amount of jobs at the trader. Once you reach the new trader you will no longer need to head back to the previous trader.
On reaching the new trader your job will be completed. But, this job doesn’t give any Duke’s Casino Tokens but you will only get XP.
Fetch/Clear
This job is a bit more interesting and challenging at the same time. What you have to do is clear a specified area and also pick up the hidden parcel. That hidden parcel is actually White River Supplies.
Once you have done both parts of your job, just return back to the trader with the parcel and you will get your rewards.
Restore Power
This is the last job at a trader’s post and is a bit different from the others. This job requires you to head towards a specific location. There will be a generator at that place. You just simply need to start that generator.
Here comes the interesting part. As you start the generator, the zombies will be alerted and they will start reaching your position. You cannot run away and save yourself. You have to clear that place from zombies to complete the job.
Selling Items to Traders
Now, this is another great way to earn money without completing challenging tasks. All you need to do is search and grab high-value products from all over the Navezgane and just simply sell them to trades. In return, they will give you Duke’s Casino Tokens.
The value of each item is different. Some are at pretty low value while others are highly priced. Now, you can either loot these items from different buildings and storage or you can also craft them at your base.
Here are some high-value items.
- Power Tools & Components
- Weapons
- Old Cash
- Raw Materials & Resources
- Mechanical & Electrical Components
These are all the categories of items that can be sold to traders. They will for sure get you a huge amount of Duke’s Casino Token if you sell many items at once. Also, be sure to not sell items such as ammunition, food, and vehicle parts. They are not much of a value.
How do You Sell to Traders in 7 Days to Die?
Simply just transfer the items to your inventory that you wanna sell. Look for a trader and interact with him. You will see a sell option. Now, click the item that you wanna sell. The value of your item will be displayed in the top right corner.
If you are okay with that value then just click the sell button and you will have Duke’s Casino Tokens in your inventory instantly.
Are There Traders in 7 Days to Die?
Yes, there are traders in 7 Days to Die. The game has a total of 5 traders. Each one of these traders offers different types of items. Trader Joel offers Armor, Trader Jen has Medical Supplies, Trader Bob has Tools and Vehicle Parts, Trader Hugh offers Weapons and Ammo, and Trader Rekt offers Food and Seeds.
All of these traders spawn at different locations in Navezgane.
