How to Use Forge 7 Days to Die

Forge is one of the Workstations in 7 Days to Die that are used to craft useful and advanced items. At Forge Station you can craft lots of different items such as tools, building materials, ammunition, and other resources.

The Forge Station can be crafted at your base. Once you have crafted it, you can add different buffs to it to increase its crafting performance.

Like all the other workstations in 7 Days to Die, Forge Station is also used in the same way. Although, it has entirely different recipes. Also, the Forge Station can be upgraded with three different tools that enhance its productivity.

First things things first, we need to craft this station to make it usable. Here’s what you will need to craft it.

  • 80x Small Stone
  • 60x Clay Soil
  • 10x Leather
  • 3x Duct Tape
  • 3x Short Iron Pipe

You can craft this station with the above items only when you have attained a level of Advanced Engineering skill.

Forge Station Buffs

We have three buffs for Forge Station. Each of these buffs gives different boosts. The first tool is Anvil. The second is Crucible and the third is Advanced Bellows.

Anvil boosts the crafting speed of Forge Station by 50%. It can be crafted or found in the Working Stiff Crates. If you are unable to find it then you can go for crafting it at the same Forge Station using the items 1250x Iron and 125x Clay Soil.

The next Forge Tool is Crucible. This tool allows crafting more advanced recipes and steel items on Forge Station. Crucible can be crafted at a Workbench using the items: 100x Forged Iron, 20x Mechanical Parts, 1200x Small Stone, 20x Oil, and 900x Clay Soil.

The third and last tool is Advanced Bellows. This boosts the smelting speed of Forge Station by 50%. Advanced Bellows can be crafted in the inventory after learning its recipe from the schematic. You will need the following items: 6x Wood, 20x Leather, 2x Short Iron Pipe, 5x Duct Tape, and 5x Nails.

Uses of Forge Station

Forge Station helps you craft dozens of advanced and high-tech items that are much needed for your survival. Without these items, you won’t be able to make progress in the game.

Here are the recipes for some important items that can be crafted at Forge Station.

  • Brick Blocks can be crafted using 10x Small Stone and 60x Clay Soil.
  • Brick Stairs can be crafted using 10x Small Stone and 60x Clay Soil.
  • Bullet Casing can be crafted using 6x Brass and 1x Clay Soil.
  • Bulletproof Glass can be crafted using 137x Crushed Sand, 12x Small Stone, 50x Lead, 25x Iron, and 25x Clay Soil.
  • Cement can be crafted using 12x Small Stone.
  • Forged Iron can be crafted using 12x Iron and 6x Clay Soil.
  • Forged Steel can be crafted using 31x Iron and 15x Clay Soil.
  • Glass Blocks can be crafted using 17x Crushed Sand, 6x Lead, and 2x Clay Soil.
  • Iron Arrowhead can be crafted using 2x Iron and 1x Clay Soil.
  • Wrought Iron fences can be crafted using 15x Iron and 1x Clay soil.

These are just a few recipes that are available on Forge Station. Using Forge Station produces heat which results in attracting zombies. If the Forge Station is used for too long or multiple Forge Stations are used at the same time then it will attract more zombies and the Screamers as well.

What Tool Do You Need to Forge in 7 Days to Die?

Forge Station has three additional tools that can be added to it to increase its performance. You can also use the station without these tools. The first tool is Anvil which increases the crafting speed by 50%.

The second tool is the Crucible. This unlocks more advanced recipes and crafting of steel items. The third tool is Advanced Bellows. This increases the smelting speed by 50%.

How do You Forge Iron in 7 Days to Die?

The Forged Iron can be crafted at Forge Station using 31x Iron and 6x Clay Soil. You can also craft Forged Steel at this station. That’s not it, you can also smelt Brass, Lead, Glass, Stone, and Clay at Forge Station.
