The Best Sniper Monkey Path in BTD6

Due to its role as a base tower, the Sniper Monkey is a one-of-a-kind tower in the game. Since it can attack from the opposite side of the screen, you can place it far away from the track.

However, the Tier 1 upgrades of Path 1 and Path 2 allow the tower to see these items (for camos). For Path 1, the goal is to increase the damage (rather than DPS) done by each sniper bullet fired. The sniper’s increased usefulness is the primary goal of Path 2.

Only attack speed is considered in Path 3. Sniper Monkeys can be placed everywhere due to their range. However, players should be aware that Sniper Monkeys’ line of sight can still be blocked by types of terrain that prevent them from seeing their target.

When this happens, it’s a good idea to look for a place that’s up high so that a player’s line of sight isn’t obstructed by anything. Here we will be discussing The Best Sniper Monkey Path in BTD6.

What is The Best Sniper Monkey Path in BTD6?

Sniper Monkey Paths are one of the main towers in BTD6. They provide great defense and a high amount of damage to the bloons.

If you’re wondering about the best sniper monkey path in BTD6, then the “Cripple Moab” is one of the best when it comes to this. It provides high damage and defense to the player. It deals 80 damage per shot.

1. CRIPPLE MOAB:

  • Price: $28,900
  • Path: 1
  • Tier: 5

For ZOMGs, BADs, and most especially Boss Bloons, Cripple MOAB has a specialization in crippling single-target blimps. Instead of increasing its damage, the Cripple MOAB helps other towers do additional damage to blimps that have been damaged by it. It will destroy affected blimps more quickly if they are close to towers with high projectile counts and fast attack speeds.

Its inexhaustible range is a crucial factor in its overall effectiveness. Crippling MOAB isn’t going to do much harm on its own. Cripple MOAB’s effectiveness will be maximized when combined with rapid towers such as Super Monkeys or towers that fire many projectiles every shot, such as Overdrive.

Players can cross paths with a Cripple MOAB Sniper Monkey, but their options greatly rely on what other towers they place. Path 2 gives the Cripple MOAB Sniper Monkey the ability to detect camouflage and simultaneously hit numerous bloons.

There are a couple of ways players can better understand camouflage. While they are both useful, the truth is that players can either use a Sniper Monkey in conjunction with Radar Scanner or Etienne to give all of the towers on the map a better understanding of camouflage.

The Cripple MOAB Sniper Monkey needs to detect camouflage more than it needs to be able to injure several bloons at once. Hence gaining camouflage detection in another means is preferable.

2. ELITE SNIPER

ELITE SNIPER
  • Price: $11,050
  • Path: 2
  • Tier: 5

The Elite Sniper isn’t extremely powerful for its price, but it may be utilized to effectively oppose mid-game coordinated bloons with basic buffs and crosspathing. On the other hand, its greatest strength derives from its higher-value cash crates and enhancing the attack speed of all other Snipers on screen.

A player with several Sniper Monkeys will find this upgrade handy, especially when using Maim MOABs, Cripple MOABs, Full Auto Rifles, and Elite Defender. This upgrade enhances the fire speed of all Sniper Monkeys on screen.

Elite Sniper is a good option, even though it does not earn any money. Combined with Downdraft, it effectively cleans up Super Ceramic while improving all Snipers, especially 4-2-0 Maim MOABs. It’s a bargain compared to other Tier 5 alternatives, giving it an advantage over others in the middle to late game.

I strongly advise players to cross path an Elite Sniper Sniper Monkey with Path 3 when cross pathing. What’s the reason? The delicious attack speed you gain from your Sniper Monkey will only serve to make him a faster bloon clearing.

The Elite Sniper Sniper Monkey may still tear through Lead Bloons by placing an Alchemist next if players are concerned about it. It’s a waste of time to take the first option. Path 1 does indeed deliver greater damage, but players will lose DPS in the long term if they choose to cross paths with Path 1.

3. ELITE DEFENDER

  • Path: 3
  • Tier: 5

Sniper Monkey Path 3’s Tier 5 upgrade, Elite Defender, is the Sniper Monkey. Doubles Sniper Monkey’s attack speed increases MOAB-class damage and allows it to attack 1 percent quicker for every 1 percent of the track the bloons have reached, up to a maximum of 100 percent faster.

The Sniper Monkey gains an additional 4x attack speed for 7 seconds when a life is lost, making it 16x faster than a full-automatic rifle. It can fire 195.91 times quicker than the base Sniper Monkey, or roughly 123 shots per second, with maximum internal attack speed increases.

Up until later in the game, even without the life-loss passive ability, Elite Defender’s major strength versus bloons is its solo playability. Crosspathing this upgrade may be extremely potent, as it is one of the cheapest Tier 5 upgrades in the game.

Shrapnel Shot is a feasible option for high-rate clustered damage, but Elite Sniper is often superior. Even against MOAB-class bloons, the Large Calibre Sniper has the best DPS per dollar of any Sniper.

Like the Elite Sniper, players only have one option when they cross paths with an Elite Defender Sniper Monkey. Path 1 may appear to be the better option because it allows the player to shred through Lead Bloons. However, this severely diminishes a player’s DPS over time.

Path 1 is still an option for gamers hoping to incinerate heavily defended bloons quickly. The greatest approach to deal quick damage and clean up infant bloons is to cross paths with Path 2, which deals a lot of damage to bloons in an AoE fashion with Shrapnel Shot.

Summary:

Our guide on The Best Sniper Monkey Path in BTD6 has ended. What we’ve spoken about in this post can be summarised as follows:

  • To slow down the MOAB bloons, you should have a Cripple MOAB on your team. With their quick shot attack towers, players will be able to stall the bulk of MOAB-class bloons to give themselves time to knock out lower tier bloons with their rapid shot assault towers.
  • The Elite Defender is a close second due to its high damage rate and enormous clearing power against bloons. The Elite Defender is a good choice for players on a budget, especially those constrained in the number of towers they may place per map.
  • As a third option, the Sniper Elite Snipe requires many Sniper Monkeys to be placed. Although the Elite Sniper can supply gamers with a respectable amount of money, I don’t think it’s worth it because there are many other methods to get money.
