Bloons Tower Defense, or BTD6, regularly receives content updates to keep it interesting. So, naturally, players who have been following the game since its launch need to upgrade their towers and Monkeys with every new update.

For example, the Paragons are the highest Tier towers that you can deploy in the game. This new type of tower was introduced back in the 27^th update. However, even after so many months, some players still can’t figure it out.

What are Paragons in BTD6?

Paragons, or 5-5-5, are the highest Tier towers in the game. These Towers are superpowered upgrades for various towers. Moreover, Paragons contain the upgrades from all 3 paths, detect Camos, deal massive damage, and inflict bonus damage to boss-level Bloons.

However, you can’t purchase Paragons like your ordinary towers. Instead, you must choose your favorite towers, upgrade them to Tier 5, complete the Bloon popping challenges, and merge these upgraded towers to create Paragons.

Once you create a Paragon by sacrificing your Tier 5 towers, you won’t be able to deploy them anymore. Alternatively, the Paragon Tower will have physical features and some powers from its sacrificial towers and will cover a dedicated region of the play area.

Furthermore, you can also upgrade the ultimate Paragon tower through a series of ranks or powerups. These upgrades range from level 1 to 100, each further increasing the Paragon’s strength. However, you must sacrifice better towers with higher stats to gain better Paragons.

How to create Paragons in BTD6?

Before you can deploy Paragons in the field, you must complete a few requirements. For instance, all towers of the same type must be upgraded to Tier 5. Also, you must complete the 16 million pops across all of that tower trophy. Lastly, you must have sufficient XP required for the tower transformation.

Once you complete these requirements, you will see the Paragon upgrade option in the tower selection menu. Clicking the upgrade option will unlock the Paragon upgrade, play a special sound, and permanently change the menu’s background to purple for the respective tower type.

The next step after unlocking the Paragon upgrade is to start the game. Deploy as many Tier 5 towers of the same type as you would like to sacrifice. Next, you will see a Paragon upgrade option on the screen.

If you choose “Do It,” there will be a 3-second transformation animation. After that, the Paragon will appear on the screen after displaying the tower’s strength. The strength of your Paragon can range from 1-100 and depends on several factors.

For example, if you sacrifice several Tier 5 towers, you will receive a level 37-40 Paragon. Similarly, if you don’t sacrifice as many Tier 5 Monkeys but you have a higher Bloon pop count, you will receive a higher level Paragon.
